Squadrons from all around the Corp participate in the award. It is a large amount of fun and cadets get a great satisfaction is passing the award. The award is open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 25. There are three award levels Bronze, Silver and Gold. The Bronze and Silver levels are made up of four sections: - Skill, Service, Physical Recreation and Expedition [or Exploration]. The Gold award also contains a residential project. Each level is more difficult to get than its predecessor is, upon completing a level a cadet is given a badge, which is placed on his or her uniform.
