Outside Kololi Tavern

As you can see the Tavern is not geared to mainstream tourism . The people who stay there tend to be slightly more adventurous than the average tourist . If you want to meet interesting people , both European and African , the Tavern is the place to stay . As an inexpensive , clean , friendly place to stay in an African atmosphere . Personally I could never see the point of people going to Africa to stay in European hotels, eat European food and mix with other Europeans as many do .
