Comedy romance 4 reels. Plays as Beresford Kruger, an American who marries and becomes a British subject in order to inherit a fortune, then falls in love with his English bride.



THE MAN FROM MEXICO (1914)


Farce - 5 reels. Plays Fitzhew, who has to spend 30 days in jail and tries to make his wife believe he's gone on a business trip to Mexico.



ARE YOU A MASON? (1915)


Farce - 5 reels. Plays Frank Perry, an eccentric alcoholic who explains his drunken idiosyncrasies to his wife by saying that he is joining the Masons as she has long wished and that his actions are part of the initiation rites.



THE DICTATOR (1915)


Romantic farce filmed in Cuba - 5 reels. Plays Brooke Travers who flees to Central America to avoid being indicted on a false charge. Then in Porto Banos poses as the new Dictator.



NEARLY A KING (1916)


Mythical kingdom comedy - 5 reels. Plays both Jack Merriwell and the Prince of Bulwana (whom Merriwell impersonates) falling in love with the Princess of Zonia, the girl the prince is supposed to wed. Also starred Katherine Harris (John's 1st wife)

Romantic comedy - 5 reels. Plays Bertie Joyce who, beaten up while coming home from his bachelor party, suffers amnesia and becomes involved with a gang of crooks, who induce him to rob his fiancee's home. With Katherine Harris.

Romantic comedy - 4 reels.  Plays Cicero Hannibal Butts a corset salesman whose bride is recalled home while they are honeymooning in Europe, while he goes on to Russia with a woman who must return there.

Romantic farce - 5 reels.  Plays Robert Ridgway, who is expelled from Yale for general wildness, then falls in love with an heiress and must prove that he has reformed before he can wed her.



HERE COMES THE BRIDE (1919)


Romantic comedy - 5 reels.  Plays Frederick Tile, an Attorney who loves the daughter of a wealthy corn magnate, and allows the use of his name in obtaining settlement of a will.



THE TEST OF HONOR (1919)


Melodrama - 6 reels.  Plays Martin Wingrave, who returns from prison to blackmail the woman who put him there.  Will not reveal that a lie by the woman he loves has caused his conviction for her husband's death.



THE LOTUS EATER (1921)


ALTHOUGH I HAVE INCLUDED THIS FILM AS A "LOST ONE" APPARENTLY IT IS NOT TO SOMEONE LUCKILY ENOUGH TO HAVE 3 PRINTS OF THE FILM!!
Romantic idyll - 7 reels. Plays Jacques Leroi a Millionaire who leaves his wife and heads for China in a Balloon.  The balloon falls on an island where uncomfortable garb is banned. He finds an attractive girl there (Colleen Moore) but returns to New York briefly before the concluding fade-out back on the island.



GENERAL CRACK (1930)


ANOTHER "LOST FILM" THAT DOES EXIST ! Costume Drama - 10 reels. Plays the Duke of Kurland and Prince Christian known as General Crack. Barrymore's first full length talking role. General Crack becomes involved in the Emperor of Austria's struggle to possess the crown of the Holy Roman Empire.



THE MAN FROM BLANKLEY'S (1930)


AGAIN ANOTHER "LOST FILM" THAT DOES EXIST!!! Period farce - 8 reels. Plays Lord Strathpeffer, gentleman inebriate, who due to booze and a heavy London fog, mistakes the house where he is going to dinner, and finds himself at another solid middle class dinner party where a man from Blankley's Dept.
