As the governing body for archery within the UK, the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) organises a coaching structure to achieve the aims of "the right coaching for the right archer at the right time".
The responsibility for co-ordinating these efforts within the area covered by the Bedfordshire County Archery Association is entrusted to the County Coaching Group.
In addition to coaching arrangements for the GNAS club structure, GNAS supports a Leaders qualification which is designed for people teaching archery in Activity Centres, Sports Centres, Scouts etc.
The County Coaching Group will run a Leaders course whenever there is sufficient demand. If you wish to register your interest, or wish to get any more information, please contact the County Coaching Organiser.

Coaching is available for all archers in the Bedfordshire County Archery Association through the County Coaching Group, which is committed to implementing the Coaching Strategy of the Grand National Archery Society in order to have “the right coaching for the right archer at the right time”.
A recent poll of all the clubs within the county indicated that there was not a demand for regular coaching over and above that received within the clubs. For this reason there is not currently any coaching activity organised at a county level.
If you have any coaching requirements, either as an archer, or a club, please contact the County Coaching Organiser to discuss them.
