          CAMPING HOLIDAYS
This is our first tent which we had for 5 years and it was
replaced last year 1999. We usually use it for long weekends
and the occasional longer break, it sleeps 4 people but we
tended to use the other side to store things. The picture
was taken at a camp site in Cornwall at Crantock.

This is our latest tent which is an eight birth but we like it
because we have plenty of room for the two of us, you can
stand without bending your head.
It is pitched in Yorkshire in June 2000.
FAVOURITE SITES
                             HIDDEN VALLEY
                                           -NORTH DEVON

Hidden Valley in North Devon is one of our favourite
camping sites. It is situated in a beautiful wooded valley next
to the A361 road halfway between Mullacott Cross and
Braunton however the road does not impede on the site it is
secluded from the world. It is a long narrow site and
therefore a walk to the shop in the morning takes you
through a wooded glade and is pleasant enough to give you a
morning stroll. A stream runs through the site with a large
lake next to the shop so all unwanted bread is welcomed by
the wildfowl. Kingfishers, Herons and Buzzards are not
uncommon on the site. It is extremely idyllic and in late
summer you can harvest or eat as you pick, the finest
Blackberries.
