Air Berlin USA began in July 1978
as an American company flying services out of West-Berlin when only airlines
belonging to the Allies were allowed to fly to and from West-Berlin until
October 1990 (the German unification). By the end of 1981 Air Berlin leased
some 737-200 from the German charter company, Hapag Lloyd. N2941W was used
to Tegel from 1982 and sometimes to Tempelhof from 1983.

Dan-Air London, registration
G-BICV
From 1968 to 1990 the British
Dan-Air was one of the most important holiday carriers in the West-Berlin
air traffic. Since 1980 Dan-Air used altogether 12 Boeing 737 to
Berlin-Tegel, 5 of it were 200's series. G-BICV was the first Dan-Air 737
in Berlin.
