Berlin Airports & Flight Simulation
MS Flight Simulator 2002/2004
(2000/ 98)
(Tempelhof-THF, Gatow-GTW, Tegel-TXL)
Last update

The main theme of FS-Berlin is the
Microsoft Flight Simulator FS2004/FS2002 (FS2000/FS98) with special regards
to Berlin airports
- specially to Tempelhof Central Airport but also to Gatow, Tegel and
others. At first we will cover the period from 1945 until about
1990, that is, when the west part of Berlin was surrounded by The Wall
and when these airports stood under the command of
the west allied air forces (US Air Force, Royal Air Force and French
Air Force). Along with the world-famous Berlin Airlift
this is probably the most exciting period in the history of these airports.
We want to "collect" as many freeware aircraft models as
possible of such original airplanes which landed on West-Berlin airports
in this period and list them in a comprehensive archive called
FS-BERLIN ARCHIVE. There we also
give notes where the models have to be got. In addition
to this we would like to document
some typical aircrafts which were used in this
time in East Germany (GDR) - specially to the East German airport Berlin-Schönefeld
(SXF).
And of course we will also inform you about Berlin sceneries.
