Previous Clubs, Forth Wanderers, Meadowbank Thistle, later to be named Livingston
Robert signed from Livingston just before the start of season 1997-98 in a £100,000 deal and has been the Automatic first choice Keeper since.
His performances in Dundee's goal, have him knocking on the Full International position and it can only be a matter of time, before Robert is given his chance.
He is a qualified bricklayer and turned his hand to helping during the construction of the New stands.
Recently he married the Chief Executive's daughter and the Reception was held on the Dens pitch.
Due to Robert's consistant and outstanding performances for Dundee he was courted by both the Old Firm giants Rangers and Celtic, trying to secure his signature. Robert decided that his future lay with Celtic as he believed Martin O'Neil was more likely to give him first Team Football so Robert finally signed for Celtic in a £1.2 Million 4 year deal on 18/10/00.
All associated with Dundee wish him well, including the fans, except when he plays against Dundee.
