The Sponsorship Deal To Beat All Sponsorship Deals.

By Robert Laird

The Capital Dark Blues had mentioned they were going to be sponsoring Fabian Caballero, to the tune of one car for this Season at their Annual Sportsman Dinner and I’m glad I was present at the Livvy game, to take the photographic evidence, when this deal came to fruition.

The story behind the deal is unique. The CDB’s will finance the sponsorship deal in it’s initial year, then either, Motor Vision of Livingston, Dundee F.C. or even Fabian will have the option to complete the deal.

Wullie Tanner Sales Manager at Motor Vision already has close links with Dundee Football Club regarding car deals, therefore this was an excellent opportunity for both Motor Vision and the CDB’s to continue their close affinity with Dundee Football Club as the CDB’s already Sponsor, not just one player, but three players this year.

This is a real Supporters Club in the true sense of the meaning. As can be seen by the large turnout of their Members for the Presentation.

Jim Thomson the Stadium Manager was a little taken aback when he saw the number of representatives that follow Dundee from the Capital, initially thinking there would only be a photographer. The passion of these fans cannot be hidden for their beloved Dundee Football Club.

Fabian, himself must be proud of his brand new, top of the range Ford Mondeo Zetec, with full attractive Dundee ensigna emblazoned across the bonnet and side door. Fully enhanced with his own and "The Capital Dark Blues” name across the side. Courtesy of “Robert Parker Signs”.

Deewok was asked by Grant Anderson’s son Louie, what he thought of the car and gave it, a big thumbs up. With the approval of Wullie Tanner looking on.
