Welcome Home Exiles

It had been agreed via the Internet that the Exiles when they arrived home would all gather in the Centenary Bar on the Thursday Evening prior to the Scottish Cup Final.

Everyone started to arrive around 8 O'clock and Ed Rahfield and his girlfriend Laura from the North American Dundee Supporters Club were some of the first to arrive.  Another member of the NADSC arrived resplendent with his American Flag proudly displaying "Orlando Dee Hampden Park 2003."  Yes Ian Harper was back and flying the colours.

It was then that there was an introduction to the boys from Sydney Australia who said they knew one of their friends was coming over with a Pakistani Flag with Pakistan Dark Blues on it.  So it's fair to say there will be quite a colourful spectacle at Hampden come Saturday.

Whilst chatting with the Australian branch of the Dundee faithful another contingent of the NADSC came into the bar it was the Toronto boys, Steve Watson and Greg Watson who'd convinced their friend who doesn't even watch football to come along.  He's a Maple Leaf fan so at least he's used to supporting the boys in blue.

Of course there were a few members of the Local boys and lasses in town also wanting to finally meet all the people they've been chatting with all these years via the various Dundee FC forums.
