It would appear that the press, are now allowed to print complete inaccurate stories and get away with it. I of course am relating to the article printed in one of the West Coast Tabloids, where “Rangers new Argentinean star” was being brandied across the top of the article.

As far as I’m led to believe, Dundee still have Claudio’s registration. Rangers have not made an official bid for our Argentinean Star. So where has this report come from?

Dundee Football Club in my opinion must and should now take this tabloid to court for it’s completely inaccurate reporting. What can happen to Dundee if they do this?

1. We will become the butt of the Tabloids headlines. Well there will be nothing new there.
2. We will be found to be correct in our cries for inaccurate reporting and should be compensated.
3. This may stop any further inaccurate reporting about our club, or at least some background investigative journalism may be carried out firstly. (Ha! Ha!)
4. We may start the push from all Scottish clubs to stop the West Coast Media’s bully boy tactics of trying to Poach their best Players on behalf of the Old Firm.
5. At least Celtic denied interest early on. Rangers would appear to be quite happy to use the Press in this manner to appease their loyal fans?
6. I think it would be ironic if Dundee, were compensated by this tabloid to a considerable sum and Mr. Caniggia remained a Dundee Player. This would really be a double blow for all the provincial clubs against the West coast Media.
