Mark Hamilton, gives his Verdict on the clubs and players to look out for in 2003/04.

 SPL Positions:-

1:   1) Celtic.  Simply it's their turn to win the league this year

2) Rangers. Well who else would be second apart from Celtic?

3) Hearts.  I think they are quite a strong team and can get stronger, they
have a good manager

4) Dundee.  Dundee will be more consistent this year, only if we don't have
injuries though.

5) Dunfermline.  They have a good wee squad themselves, they'll be
challenging Dundee very close for 4th spot however, Dunfermline will be 5th.

6) Dundee United.  I know they have signed a few players, but I think they
will have some skill and rough put together, they manage the top 6.

7) Kilmarnock.

8) Hibernian.  Still just ain't good enough for the top 6

9) Aberdeen

10) Partick Thistle.

11) Motherwell, I think their younger boys will be a little better this
season but only good enough for 11th

12) Livingston, yea they got their new Brazilian manager, but I just Livvy
will somehow end up bottom this season AND going into the 1st division

Winners : Hearts
Runners up : Dundee

Scottish cup

Winners : Celtic
Runners up : Partick Thistle

UEFA cup

Winners : AS Roma
Runners up : Dundee. It will be a sob story for us just like United in 1987.
