Season 2004-2005 league Predictions

Bob Laird gives his verdict.

1st- Rangers  Have freshened their side up and got rid of the majority of the Dutch premadonnas
2nd - Celtic    Haven't really looked like replacing Larsson they will be close behind Rangers but never really challenging.
3rd - Hearts Will continue their good work as being the most consistent of the rest but the gap will be less.
4th - Dundee  Why not?  Dunfermline made these dizzy heights without really being a good side.  Giving a good piece of Luck and injury free Season we might just do it.
5th-  Hibs  An untested Manager may take a little while to get the best out of the Players Billy Williamson has left him.  They were improving but feel the new Manager might hamper their progress.
6th- Arabs They haven't strengthened their team and will never be in danger of being out the top six, but they are still not as good as McColl thinks they are.
7th - Dunfermline Only because their plastic pitch gives them a slight advantage over the poorer teams.  Pitch should never have been allowed in the Top League if it's not ok for UEFA Cup games.
8th - Livingston They will fight for their very existence and this will give them the edge over the rest.
9th - Aberdeen  Simply because the rest are worse than them though the bottom three can be in any order it will be that close.
10th - Motherwell  Maybe one season too far for the youngsters to keep things fresh.
11th - Killie  A team of journeymen with a low budget Manager who couldn't motivate anyone, sorry JJ your tenure is as shaky as your after match analysis.
12th - Inverness Caley  Will scare a few but will just be edged out by their lack of experience at this level.  Too many away games will be their downfall on a poor pitch.

League Final -  Dundee to beat Hibs
Scottish Cup Final Rangers to beat Hearts
