NADSC "Ure" Dundee Initiative
The Dundee Supporters Association pledged £10,000 to the Dee 4 Life “Ure” Dundee Initiative and it was up to the DSA Affiliated Clubs, to generate fund raisers to make sure the DSA could honour this commitment and even more.
With this in mind all Dundee Supporters Club’s have done their bit and even those fans from far away have rallied to the call. The North American Dundee Supporters Club was delighted to be able to hand over a cheque for £500 to the DSA, to forward onto the “Ure” Dundee Initiative.
Dan Watson is an ‘Operations Manager with Instep Commercial in Dundee’, whose brother Stephen, happens to be the Treasurer of the NADSC, Dan donated a signed Claudio Caniggia shirt to the NADSC to help them make a significant contribution, this was duly auctioned on the internet with the kind assistance of the Dundee Mad Website.
The North American Dundee Supporters Club members then added their subscription fees to the sum raised to make the figure up to a credible £500. The NADSC would like to thank Dan wholeheartedly for his very kind and generous donation, as all would agree it generated far more revenue than they could have dreamt.
So even those fans that are severed physically from Dundee FC are still able to make significant contributions to the Club they love via a collective voice in this case the voice of the North American Dundee Supporters Club. As they say “from small Acorns grow mighty Oaks”.
