A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME

Comedy

4m 4f +1 voice-over (20s-50s)

Living room set

When Mark agrees that a special Christmas episode of the popular radio soap opera on which he is the main writer can be broadcast live from his house, it seemed like a good idea. It was also intended that this episode would see the departure of the show's star, Felicity Meyer. But Felicity has changed her mind about leaving and is prepared to do anything to keep her part. Can Mark untangle the chaos her plotting causes and will he ever get back his house and his marriage? Indeed, will the Christmas episode ever be ready in time?

LATE

Drama

2m 3f (20s-50s)

Living room set

Petra and Gillian return from their father's funeral to the house Gillian shared with him. As they talk and try to find some consolation, it appears that their memories of life in the family home are not quite the same and truths are revealed which are probably better hidden. But there is one truth that only Gillian knows; exactly what happened on the day their father died.

… EVER AFTER?

Comedy

2m 3f (30's -60's)

Living room set

2m 3f (30's -60's)

Living room set

Beth has no idea what possessed her husband Tony to start acting so strangely, but after a dinner party with neighbours Douglas and Betty at which Tony seems to think he is Dick Whittington, Douglas may have come up with the answer. Beth and Tony's house is haunted by the ghost of a dead amateur actress who always wanted to be a great Shakespearean actress, but was reduced to playing principal boy parts in panto. Tony, it seems, really is possessed. Can Beth's friend and therapist, Harriet, help Tony to be free of the ghost, or is he doomed to spend the rest of his life alternately looking for rats and cats and planting baked beans in the garden?
