Picture of Bob Stone

Bob is a Graduate in English Literature from Bangor University. He has been writing since he could hold a pen.

Bob has been a member of Lucilla Dramatic Society since 1990 and has seen many of his One-Act Plays performed by the Society both on the Studio Theatre stage at Lucilla House, and at Festivals. Indeed, his one-act play 'In After School' recently won an award.

Bob has a body of work which includes several full length plays and other one-act plays not mentioned on this web site! His one-act drama entitled 'Trainspotter' (not mentioned on this site) was commended at a Festival for its 'ear for dialogue'. Details of Bob's other works will be posted on this web site as soon as possible.

Bob has also directed and acted in several full length plays for Lucilla Dramatic Society. Most recently Bob played the role of E.J. Scott  in Saving Ardley, a play specially written for the World Wildlife Fund and amateur dramatic groups around the world by Tudor Gates, the author of the famous Ladies Who Lunch and Who Killed Agatha Christie.

In October 2002 Bob directed 'Murder In Play', a comedy thriller by Simon Brett.

Recently Bob has become associated in a publishing and licensing arrangement with Stage One Publications
