Fantastic work, Carole! Sorry I couldn't find a more private place to alert you to the dodgy link from Yorkshire strays in Northumberland 1881 N-Z. It links to Lincolnshire strays. But hey! that's a detail. Good on you.

Hi

I have spotted a mistake in your census stryas:
THORNTON John 1824 Garrison Ingleton

Was born in Garriston not Garrison, which is near Hauxwell in Yorks. He is my direct ancestor. it's an easy mistake to make and I think the census may even have it written as Garrison. I spent years working that one out!

Regards
