I have spotted a mistake in your census stryas:
THORNTON John 1824 Garrison Ingleton
Was born in Garriston not Garrison, which is near Hauxwell in Yorks. He is my direct ancestor. it's an easy mistake to make and I think the census may even have it written as Garrison. I spent years working that one out!
