May is a beautiful time of year in the park.It begins in late Spring and ends in early Summer. The flowers are all the colours of the rainbow from the red tulips to the purple heather.There is still some pink and white blossom to be seen too.This picture shows the Japanese garden on the lake in Queen Mary's Gardens.

There are roses in the park in every month except March and April.Here is one of the first roses to appear in May.
This is a picture of the bridge over the lake, with a tree in blossom,but with more leaves than blossom.The rest of the trees are in full leaf.
