A view along the mill stream

The mill race runs underneath the Country Parlour, after it has powered the Nineteenth Century grade 2 listed flour mill. The mill stream is home to our re-cycling staff - the greedy Mallards, Muscovies, Indian and Khaki Campbell ducks! A Kingfisher is often glimpsed and the, now endangered, water vole is resident in the banks. The shy Coot and Moorhen also make their home in the reeds. Where better to eat good value, excellently cooked, imaginative vegetarian and vegan food, than in these tranquil surroundings.
