1862, are hereby required to surrender themselves
to Henry Philip Roche, Esq., a Registrar of the said Court,
at the first meeting of creditors, to be held before the said
Registrar, on the 14th day of February next, at twelve

Buckingham, Cattle and Sheep Dealers, Dealers and Chap-
men, having been adjudged bankrupts under a Petition for
adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in Her Majesty's Court
of Bankruptcy, in London, on the 20th day of January
1862, a public sitting, for the said bankrupts to pass their
Last Examination and make application for their Dis-
charge, will be held before Joshua Evans, Esq., the Commis-

o'clock precisely, for the purpose of obtaining the consent
of three-fourths in number and value of the creditors then
present or represented at such meeting to a resolution that

    John William Chaundy departed Southampton on board the New York on 26th August 1905, bound for New York.
    John William Chaundy arrived at Ellis Island on board the New York on 2nd September 1905, records show he was 30 and a U.S. Citizen.
    Amy Fletcher was born 17th October 1904, the daughter of Charles and Mary Fletcher. She was baptised on 14th April 1906 at Christ Church, Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, N.Y.. Her sponsor was J.W. Chaundy.
    John William Chaundy was nationalized on 25th September 1906 at Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

    John William Chaundy arrived at Ellis Island on board the St. Paul on 12th November 1916, records show he was single, 41, a resident of New York, N.Y. and a U.S. Citizen. He had departed from Liverpool.
    John Chaundy appears in the manifest of the St. Paul which arrived at Ellis Island from Liverpool on 8th September 1917, records show he was single, 42, a resident of Poughkeepser (sic), N.Y. and a U.S. Citizen. But the entry appears to have been crossed out. Did he not travel ? (as he was married in London later the same month).
    John William Chaundy (42 bachelor gentleman of 34 Deodar Road, Putney) married Rosa Angelina Pluckrose (42 widow from 63 Earls Court Square, daughter of George James Maynard - Master Mariner and Caroline Mahilda Bell) at the Parish Church, Kensington on 29th September 1917. The witnesses were Sarah Beckwith and M. L. Booke.
    John William Chaundy arrived at Ellis Island on board the Majestic on 7th March 1923, records show he was married, 47, a resident of 32 Corlis Avenue, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and a U.S. Citizen. He had departed from Southampton.
