Oxford's dreaming spires

The city of Oxford is renowned for its university. This helped to establish a printing and publishing industry in Oxford. With the Bodleian Library (one of Europe's oldest libraries, dating from 1602), Oxford University Press (OUP) and Blackwell's bookshop in Broad Street. It was part of the current Blackwell's bookshop that was once 'Ye Olde Picture Shoppe' run by John Chaundy, as mentioned in Sir John Betjeman's 'Summoned by Bells' (Betjeman being educated at Magdalen).
