Keep your eye on the Club Notice Board in the SU. Lists will be posted approx.a fortnight before each event. Add your name to the list and pay in to the Finance Office (upstairs in the SU). Some visits are free!

Summer Term 2002Badminton trip - Wednesday May 1st to Sunday May 5th - all fully inclusive for about £120, or just the weekend (Friday to Sunday) for c. £80. URGENT: A couple of places left - see Alan a.s.a.p.

April 25th Dressage competition at Point House Farm. Get an entry form from Pip and have a go!
Also: June A repeat of last year's short holiday. Catherine has arranged a week in Powys for the last week of term.
Summer Barbecue To mark the end of term and to say goodbye to all those leaving us, there's a super barbecue and booze up at Alan's.

Summer Break 2002 Those of us still in Chester will continue to ride at Point House. See Alan to book in.
Also, we will be making trips to Burghley August 29th - Sept 1st and Blenheim September 5th - 8th Same type of arrangements and costs as for Badminton. Full details here after Easter.

Autumn Term 2002 This is advance planning gone mad, but these dates MUST go in your diaries: Wednesday 9th October Horse of the Year Show . At the NEC in Birmingham this year, so we can easily visit. Kerry has booked us 15 tickets approx. cost £20 - first come, first served. See the notice board. Saturday & Sunday 9th and 10th November at Solihull Equestrian Centre Pat Parelli, David and Karen O'Conner & Guests Lecture/Demonstration. £20 If you've seen Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks, then this is just as special. We'll decide which day to go on after the summer break.
Saturday & Sunday 2nd and 3rd November at Stoneleigh. The British Equine Event. The biggest and best of all the exhibitions. Non-stop demos and 30+ different breeds of horses and ponies. Ridiculously cheap at £7. We'll probably go on the Sunday. |
