All you need for this tut is my polkadot.jpg, that's if you decide to use it :o)
and my selections

OK, lets role up our sleeves and get creating.

 

1. Open an new image 450x550 with a transparent background.

2. Add a new raster layer naming it hat. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-hat.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with  #4040FF. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to 5, opacity 80, blur 20. Selections/select none.

3. Add a new raster layer naming it bobbles. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-bobbles.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with #FFFF00. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to -3, opacity 64, blur 12.5. Selections/select none.

4. Add a new raster layer naming it hands. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-hands.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with white. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical to -1 and horizontal to 1, opacity 58, blur 6.3. Selections/select none.

5. Add a new raster layer naming it feet. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-feet.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with #2E2E2E. With the paintbrush tool set to round, size 17, hardness 0, opacity 2, step 25, density 100 paint a white highlight on the top of each shoe. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to 2, opacity 80, blur 20. Selections/select none.

6. Add a new raster layer naming it body. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-body.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with the polkadot.jpg. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical to -1 and horizontal to 1, opacity 70, blur 26.3. Selections/select none.

7. Add a new raster layer naming it yolk. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-yolk.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with #008000. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to -1, opacity 64, blur 16.3. Selections/select none. Effects/3D effects/Drop shadow, set vertical to 2, horizontal to 1, opacity 72, blur 6.2.

8. Add a new raster layer naming it hair. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-hair.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with #F8971A. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to -1, opacity 64, blur 15. Selections/select none.

9. Add a new raster layer naming it hat rim. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-hatrim.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with  #C00000. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to -1, opacity 64, blur 7.5. Selections/select none.

10. Add a new raster layer naming it face. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-face.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with  #F4DADA. With the paintbrush tool same settings as before but changing the opacity to 65 and colour to E8BOBO paint on some cheeks. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to -1, opacity 64, blur 7.5. Selections/select none.

11. Add a new raster layer naming it detail. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-detail1.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/None. Go to selections/load from disc and open c-detail2.sel. Flood fill with black, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and flood fill with  #C00000. Go to Effects/Noise/Add at 12% uniform. Selections/Float, Effects/3D effects/Cut out, set vertical and horizontal to -1, opacity 64, blur 5. Selections/select none.

Merge all layers visible and save as a tube for future use.
