'Landscape' view of Site 3
An activity area of some ten acres is available in April and August within the walled deer park adjacent to the site.  It is accessible by a stile in the park wall.  This area is closed between  May and July due to the fawning season for the deer, and again in September and October during the rutting season.  Access is always available via the stile to the rest of the deer park.  Tents may not be erected in the Deer Park.  The area at the bottom of the site is ideal for tracking and pioneering.  An adventure playground is available for Cub Scouts and an assault course for the Scouts.  The archery and air rifle ranges are located in this area.
