This was achieved with poor Dunecht fielding a much weakened side.</div> <bR> <div> Heroes of the day??</div> <bR> <div> Well, Huw Owen took 4 for pennies in a long spell, Ken 'the rabbit' Hutcheson took 2 for 19, bowling 12 wides and Steve Burford 3 for pennies wrapping up the tail. </div> <bR> <div> Batting wise, the legendary Ean Mackie not out 28, Ken again scoring 18, Steve Palmer 12 in a total of 78 for 4.</div> <bR> <div> Donkeys off the day......Ean Mackie behind the sticks, missing three or four easy run outs and two stumpings. Chris Watson (0) with the idea that he could come down from the Firsts and smack the ball around immediately. Kenny for his miserable wide balls!</div> <bR> <div> But all in all........a wonderful second spot in the league. Congratulations to Huw Owen for keeping together some decent players throughout the year. Next year <U>should</U> be Grade three.</div> <bR> <div> Steve Palmer</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
