These pictures are reproduced from period postcards and illustrate some of the smaller steamers that once graced some of Scotland's finest lochs. Today there is just one steamship remaining active on Scotland's inland lochs - the veteran steamer SIR WALTER SCOTT on Loch Katrine, more than a century after her launch in October 1899.
