BRISTOL HYPNOTHERAPY CLINIC

Hypnosis can prove useful in organic illnesses, but the most effective treatment is with those conditions having strong emotional components.

Referrals from G.P.‘S remain under their control, should any assistance with any anti-depressant or anti-hypertensive therapy be required, the client is immediately referred back to the G.P. For example a hypertensive patient can reduce their blood pressure over therapy sessions, becoming calmer and more relaxed causing a return to within normal BP parameters. With a continued
anti-hypertensive medication being taken, faintness or lethargy can become apparent, therefore adjustment might be necessary.

I normally send a letter to the G.P. Regarding their patient’s progress. However, I never reveal any regressed memories recalled during the hypnotherapy sessions.

A client may no longer require medication post therapy, or have significantly reduced what they have been taking, but again only after discussing this with their G.P. or prescribing physician. The medication usually pertains to anti-depressants and anti-hypertensives, beta-blockers or sleep inducing agents.

All my clients complete an Outcomes Form, so that evidence is obtained with a record of their
improvement, and provides some idea of the clinician’s ability.

This is the Bristol Hypnotherapy Clinic’s Outcomes Data.
Clients / patients complete an outcomes form at the end of therapy. They are asked on that form to place a percentage 0% meaning NO change to a specific problem, and 100% being the very best change.
This provides some idea, out of the number of clients, with
their average score given to a specific problem.
