Great Expectations is to be screened at last, in Australia. It is scheduled for ABC TV, Sunday 18th and 25th July (in two parts), at 8:30pm.

Ioan is to appear in one of the new BBC1 series' "Stars' Secrets". The series begins on Monday 5th July at 7pm, and follows on every Monday thereafter. Watch this space to find out which Monday Ioan is appearing!!!

"Diana - A Dedication in Seven Ages" AudioBook is available to buy on CD and Cassette. You can order the CD through Audio Books Online at CD link and you can order the CASSETTE version at Cassette link. Ioan reads "Under Milk Wood", "The Collier" and "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night", all in his own accent, so it is well worth buying this Audio Book.

The opening of Aberglasney Gardens info:

"Young singer Charlotte Church and the actor Ioan Gruffudd will take part in the official opening, on July 4, of what is being hailed as an attraction that will soon be one of the most talked about gardens in Britain. The opening will be a celebration in music and poetry of the great ages of Aberglasney, one of the oldest and largest country houses of southwest Wales." "The event will be televised and broadcast as part of three half-hour documentaries on BBC Wales starting on June 22. The programmes will be networked throughout the UK in the autumn."

"Solomon & Gaenor" has won second prize at the Emden Film Festival in Germany.

"Solomon & Gaenor" is not to be released in the USA any time soon, nor any other of Ioan's new projects). However, it has been said that it will be featured in the following festivals in North America:

Atlantic Festival (Canada) (Halifax, Nova Scotia) September 17-25
Washington (DC) Jewish Film Festival December 2-12

Awaiting confirmation: Boston Jewish Film Festival which will be held November 4-14 1999.

Sara Sugarman is about to start shooting in Wales for her latest feature, "Pavarotti in Dad's room", starring Jonathan Pryce, Rachael Griffiths, Ioan Gruffudd and Matthew Rhys.
