George Club was born in 1612, just over a year after his brother, John. This means that their father, Edward Club must have been born at the end of the 16th Century around 1585. John and George were both born in
Tonbridge, Kent but although George married in Tonbridge, he and his wife had moved to North Cray by the time their son George arrived in 1641.
Through the various marriages the family is now LEE and they stayed here for another generation, eventually moving to
Bexley, and by marriage once again to the name HIBBEN, by the early 1700s where they stayed for the next one hundred years.
