Welcome to the home page of Jan Kennedy Brown (formerly Philippe)

I used to run my own business but these days I find that having the time to do the things I enjoy is more precious than the pressures and stresses of corporate life although I still work as a self employed IT consultant, Trainer and Web Designer.

My hobby, and great interest for the past three years, is Genealogy. I already have traced several of my family lines back to the 16th Century and I am now in the process of putting 'meat on the bones'. In so doing I have developed a further interest in the village of Hawkhurst in Kent. This has prompted a desire to write a book for which I am now researching.
