What is Leyburn Light?
Leyburn Light was started in December 99 by Howard Firth and David Charlton.
We are a 'not for profit' community group whose aim is to improve the provision of the 'arts' in the rural communities of Wensleydale in North Yorkshire. We aim to do this by arranging professional performances in local venues, educational workshops in local schools as well as exhibitions.
Additionally an important part of our activities will be to promote waste reduction, sustainable waste management and the market for recycled products in our community, wherever possible linking this to our aim of providing 'arts for everyone'.
How can I get involved?
