LATEST CHANGES
I had originally planned to redesign the site and then upload it to www.thechief.org.uk, which I was getting through Freenetname. However, they now want to charge me for the domain name so, by the 27th of July, that name will be up for grabs and I will no longer be able to upload my stuff to there. So I'm going to leave it here instead. The redesign is still something I want to do, and I'm at the initial stages of designing the layout etc at the moment. I don't expect it to be in place for the start of the new season (hell, I'm not even going to be in England for the start of the new season) but I fully intend to have it up and running by the end of the 2002-2003 campaign. And if it isn't you can poke me with a pointy stick. Just not in places where it might hurt :P
As always, I'm open to your suggestions (though I've yet to have any...) I'll also be designing the site so that it has cross-browser compatibility, so all you peeps who are still using Netscape (why?!) can see the site in its full glory. Also, if anyone would like to give me money, send me pictures of themselves (if you're a fine looking woman), fill in for me at work or pay for my season ticket, I don't mind. Honest. Note on the image situation:
Because I haven't received permission to use quite a lot of the images on this site (owing to an apparent misunderstanding on my part as regards the copyright laws) it turns out that I'm not legally allowed to use them. Technically speaking, I've been a very naughty boy. While I haven't removed every single image from the site, the main offenders have been taken off and I may well take others off in the future. Until then I'll try and get legal permission to use the images (though I'm not going to pay for the right as I'm completely skint) and will try and build up a collection of images that I do have permission to use. You can help by either sending me pics of The Chief that you've taken yourself (scanned/in a suitable format, I mean), or by becoming the Ruler of the Universe and giving me special permission to use any photos I like.
