Sandra Vives Lynch, Paula Atkin and Andy Chappel attended the Cumbria County Indoor competition held on 3rd Feb 2002 at Shap. A Portsmouth round was shot and everybody did well. Sandra took the 3rd place in both the open and county competition for recurve. Paula came in fourth with a score of 479,just two points behind Sandra. This was the first competition shoot for Andy and Paula, they enjoyed it and hopefully will be attending more shoots in the future.

Sandra Vives Lynch and Richard Hill attended the Kendal Bowmen indoor Portsmouth competition on 17th Feb 2002 at Shap. Sandra took 1st place in ladies recurve with a score of 501 and Richard came 17th in the gents recurve with a score of 480. Sandra also took part in the head to head, going out to Dave Greagson in the first round 10-10-10 to 9-9-8. This shoot was also Richards first competition after a couple of years of taking it easy. In between shooting Richard had time to chat with old archery friends from the Kendal club. No doubt we will be seeing more of Richard on the competition front this year.
