NWA-UK Hammerlock BACK 2 SCHOOL
Hallam FM Arena, Sheffield
Your commentary team is Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler

(NWA-UK Hammerlock Back 2 School began with an awesome video package featuring build-up to tonight's top matches. The scene then opened inside the jam-packed Hallam FM Arena, where the official Back 2 School theme song, "I Predict A Riot" by the Kaiser Chiefs, was pumping over the P.A. system. Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler were ready and waiting at the commentary booth.)

Chris Freeman: Welcome everyone to the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield! This is NWA-UK Hammerlock, the hottest promotion in the United Kingdom today and tonight, we are going BACK...TO...SCHOOL!!!

(The camera pans around the screaming fans.)

CF: I'm Chris Freeman, joined tonight as ever by Adam Wheeler and in our main event this evening we will witness the third and final chapter in the saga between Jason Prentice and The Punisher as they clash for the NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Title in a match that will have no time limit!!

Adam Wheeler: It may well be the third time these two men have met, but the outcome will once again will be the same - The Punisher is going home empty-handed!

CF: Also this evening the bitter war between Byson and "Shotgun" Steve Bailey will finally come to an end as they do battle in a I Quit Match where the loser must leave Hammerlock forever!

AW: The stakes are high in that one, there's no doubt about that! One of those men won't just be quitting Hammerlock when they utter those words, they'll be quitting the company as well!

CF: You will also see Bryan Campbell defend the TV Title against Devon Ferrari, the Tag Team Titles are up for grabs in a ladder match...

AW: And I have a huge surprise for everybody here tonight!!

CF: Really? What is it?!

AW: It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you, now would it Freeman?

("Smack My Bitch Up" by Prodigy hit and out came Hiro Kakuhari to a chorus of boos.)

CF: Well, let's get straight to the action and here comes the dangerous Japanese superstar Hiro Kakuhari, ready for the opening contest of Back 2 School which is a Four Corners Elimination Match. The other competitors are Ian Powers, Jawaid Kaleeq and Muerte de Antedicho, so Adam you have to think this bout will have a huge bearing on the TV Title rankings system.

AW: Absolutely, Freeman. As it stands right now, Jawaid Kaleeq is the number one contender and Kakuhari and Antedicho occupy the three and four positions in the rankings respectively. Ian Powers is looking to earn another title shot as well, so a victory would be priceless to any one of these four men.

CF: Kaleeq has been on quite an impressive run of form lately, so I would think that would make him the favourite.

AW: Freeman, I doubt that you can have a favourite because this is such a dangerous type of match in that you have to watch your back at all times, so the formbook goes out the window.

CF: This one could potentially steal the show. Let's go to the ring.

Match highlights:
Jawaid Kaleeq opened up on Ian Powers with a spinning back suplex, a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and a flying elbowsmash. Powers hit Muerte de Antedicho with a lariat for two. Antedicho tied Powers up in a bow-and-arrow dragon sleeper, but Powers came back with an exploder suplex. Kaleeq blasted Hiro Kakuhari with a tiger driver on the floor. Powers amazingly kicked out of Kakuhari's Thunder Wave. Kaleeq pasted Antedicho with forearms and connected with a German suplex. Kaleeq wouldn't lay down for Antedicho's Asai moonsault and top-rope Frankensteiner. Kaleeq went for an elbow suicida on the Spaniard but he missed and hit the guardrail with a sickening thud. Jawaid Kaleeq appeared to be out cold. Antedicho rolled him back into the ring and while Kaleeq attempted to work out where he was, Antedicho drilled him with a flying spinning leg lariat to eliminate him.
Paramedics helped the groggy Kaleeq to the back while the bout continued. Muerte de Antedicho missed a springboard dropkick on Hiro Kakuhari and the Japanese superstar made the cover for two. Ian Powers nailed the Spaniard with a flying elbowdrop for a near fall. Kakuhari earned a couple of two counts on Powers with a spinning leg lariat and a Northern lights suplex. Powers returned fire with a choke slam. Kakuhari planted Powers with a swinging DDT and then Powers used a fallaway slam. Antedicho got a two count with a moonsault from the middle turnbuckle on Powers. Powers Tombstoned Antedicho. Antedicho went for some sort of wheelbarrow manoeuvre, but Powers countered with a Victory roll for two. Powers tried to hit a flapjack but Antedicho used a sunset flip for a near fall. Powers powerslammed Antedicho and hooked the tights, but only got a two count. Antedicho backdropped Powers out of the ring and then blasted him with an amazing tope! Kakuhari side-stepped Powers' spear and executed the Rising Star Suplex, but the conniving Leilani put her man's foot on the rope. Powers spiked Kakuhari with a double arm DDT and locked on the Hammer Jammer, but Kakuhari made the ropes and forced a break. Kakahari came back with a figure-four on Powers but Antedicho bizarrely broke the hold. Kakuhari misted Powers and cracked him in the head with a thrust kick. Kakuhari then applied a Fujiwara armbar for the tap out.
It was down to Hiro Kakuhari and Muerte de Antedicho. Kakuhari kicked out of a German suplex. Kakuhari went for the Rising Star Suplex but Antedicho countered with a small package for two. Antedicho hit a spinebuster bomb and followed up with a springboard spinning leg lariat. Antedicho scored with a moonsault and Kakuhari escaped at two and a half! Antedicho executed the Antedicho Driver, but Kakuhari ended up too close to the ropes. Kakuhari nailed Antedicho with a handspring elbow in the corner. Kakuhari then kicked the Spaniard in the head and hit the Rising Star Suplex to draw an end to this epic opening contest!

Four Corners Match:
Hiro Kakuhari defeated Ian Powers, Jawaid Kaleeq and Muerte de Antedicho:
x Antedicho beat Kaleeq via a flying spinning leg lariat in 0:09:54
x Kakuhari beat I. Powers via a Fujiwara armbar in 0:28:31
x Kakuhari beat Antedicho via the Rising Star Suplex in 0:34:03
Rating: ****
[Leilani interfered against Hiro Kakuhari.]

CF: It's Hiro Kakuhari who survives this gruelling contest!

AW: What a superb performance by the former Heavyweight Champion. And just like two weeks ago, Kakuhari pins Antedicho with the Rising Star Suplex.

CF: Kakuhari is out to rebuild his reputation in Hammerlock, there's no doubt about that.

(Footage played of the recent developments between Kontraband and Mystikal, which all stem from Mystikal's jealousy of the accolades that are continually bestowed on Kontraband.)

CF: What's your take on this match-up, Adam? Is Mystikal really jealous of Kontraband?

AW: You know Freeman, I'm not really a fan of this high-flying, risk taking style of wrestling that both these men thrive at. Don't get me wrong, they are both exceptional at it. But I agree with Mystikal that everyone is blowing smoke up Kontraband's ass like he's the second coming. Mystikal has done a lot more than Kontraband in Hammerlock - he nearly took the TV Title from Bryan Campbell at Heatwave and represented Wales in the Tag Team World Cup.

CF: But can Mystikal actually defeat Kontraband? We're about to find out. Somebody better warn air traffic control at Robin Hood Airport, this one's gonna be spectacular!!

Match highlights:
Kontraband scored a quick two count with an Asai moonsault. Mystikal picked up a near fall of his own with a standing moonsault. The Welsh rapper hit a slingshot somersault splash and a top-rope Frankensteiner for two. Two more close falls followed for Mystikal with a springboard moonsault and a Frankensteiner. This contest was loaded with near falls in the first two minutes! Mystikal executed a spinning backbreaker but missed a follow-up Asai moonsault. Kontraband seized the advantage with a springboard somersault splash and a springboard rana. Kontraband brought a chair into the ring and scored with a elbow off it. Kontraband DDTed Mystikal and sent him to the floor with a missile dropkick. Kontraband dived onto Mystikal with a tope con hilo. Mystikal power bombed Kontraband on the ringside floor, foiling his rana attempt. Mystikal then hit Kontraband with a jaw-dropping super quebrada! Mystikal got a near fall with a Frankensteiner from the top rope. Mystikal went for a twisting moonsault, but Kontraband got his knees up! Kontraband clotheslined Mystikal and then used an enzuigiri and a powerslam for two. However, Mystikal then struck Kontraband with a low blow which drew boos from the crowd. Mystikal executed the Self Suicide and covered, but Kontraband got his foot on the ropes to the joy of the crowd! Mystikal got into a heated argument with referee Andrew Butler and then turned right into a spinning leg lariat! Kontraband then scored the win with the Kontra Kode.

Kontraband pinned Mystikal with the Kontra Kode in 0:11:50.
Rating: **** 1/4

CF: Kontraband is victorious, but I'm surprised at some of Mystikal's tactics in that bout. They were questionable to say the least. I've never seen that from him before.

AW: You have to do whatever it takes to be successful here in Hammerlock. And a cheap shot here? A low blow there? I kinda like it.

CF: You would.

(Kontraband offers a handshake after the match, but Mystikal swats it away and stomps to the back.)

CF: What is that about?! Can't Mystikal accept that the better man won tonight? That's what this match was all about after all.

AW: Maybe Mystikal disagrees with your assessment of the contest, Freeman. You don't win friends with handshakes.

(A video package documenting the feud between La Cosa Nostra and The New Young Lions over the NWA-UK Hammerlock Tag Team Titles played. Brandon Alvarez and Kyle Coulbourne suffered a brutal ladder-assisted beatdown at the hands of the Italians one week ago on Saturday Fight Night. The camera then zooms in on the tag straps dangling from the roof of the Hallam FM Arena.)

CF: There you see what these two teams are about to do battle for. The Hammerlock Tag Team Titles are hanging from the ceiling of this arena and the only way to reach them is to climb the ladder. Adam, can the New Young Lions realise their dream and capture the gold tonight?

AW: No they cannot Freeman, especially after that beating they took from the champs last week. Majoli and Saronni hurt Brandon Alavrez's ribs with that ladder and they smashed up Kyle Coulbourne's ankle again. You can't lift a ladder with injured ribs, so you can't win. You can't climb a ladder with a hurt ankle, so you can't win. Therefore, the New Young Lions can't win tonight at Back 2 School.

CF: Simple as that?

AW: Simple as that.

CF: Let's see what happens. I can't wait for this one!

Match highlights:
Manuel Majoli took Brandon Alvarez with a swinging neckbreaker, but Alvarez came back with an Asai moonsault and brought the ladder into play. Alvarez dropped the ladder across Majoli's back and Kyle Coulbourne floored him with a spinning leg lariat. Alvarez planted Majoli with a double underhook suplex but then missed a flying cross body dive to the floor. Matteo Saronni lifted up the ladder and launched it onto Alvarez at ringside! Coulbourne hit a spinning DDT off the ladder onto the floor on Majoli. Saronni climbed the ladder in order to try and gain possession of the straps, but Alvarez back suplexed him off the rungs and executed the DDT Squared. Majoli bodyslammed Coulbourne on the ladder. Saronni blasted Coulbourne with a backdrop driver and hit a dragon suplex onto the steel ladder. That dangerous move could have easily broken Kyle Coulbourne's neck. Saronni climbed the ladder again but Coulbourne clotheslined it down. Saronni superplexed Coulbourne off the ladder. The bout was gradually turning into an incredible spotfest. Kyle Coulbourne broke up a Kiss of Death attempt on his partner and executed the Suicycle on Majoli. La Cosa Nostra hit Alvarez with a double flapjack into the ladder. Majoli DDTed Alvarez. Brandon Alvarez used a top-rope Frankensteiner on Majoli. The New Young Lions used a double back suplex on Saronni right onto the ladder. Kyle Coulbourne superkicked Majoli and climbed the ladder. He reached the top and dived for the belts, but agonisingly missed the gold! Saronni planted Alvarez with a Rocker Dropper and went for a dive onto Coulbourne, but Coulbourne moved and Saronni went crashing into Majoli! Alvarez and Coulbourne laid Majoli onto the ladder at ringside and then drove Saronni onto his prone partner with a double Flatliner from the ring apron! The New Young Lions pulled another ladder from under the ring and set it up. Alvarez and Coulbourne climbed a side each and snared the title belts, becoming the new NWA-UK Hammerlock Tag Team Champions!! The crowd erupted.

Ladder Match:
The New Young Lions (Brandon Alvarez and Kyle Coulbourne) defeated
La Cosa Nostra (Manuel Majoli and Matteo Saronni) in 0:27:50.
Rating: *** 1/2
(The New Young Lions won the NWA-UK Hammerlock Tag Team Titles.)

CF: They've done it! Brandon Alvarez and Kyle Coulbourne have overcome the odds...and their injures...to become the new Tag Team Champions here tonight!!

(The ecstatic New Young Lions celebrate with ringsiders while La Cosa Nostra retreat to the back selling their injuries. The crowd are delighted for the new champions.)

CF: Let's send it to the back.

(Backstage, Kelly caught up with an angry Mystikal. Mystikal was throwing things around backstage.)

Kelly: Mystikal? Mystikal?

(Kelly taps Mystikal on the shoulder and turns abruptly to face her.)

Mystikal: What?!

Kelly: Can I get your thoughts on your match with Kontraband here ton...

Mystikal: Cheat! He's a cheat, plain and simple. He cheated to win the match by bringing a chair into the ring. Why does he need to do that?! Why can't we keep it a clean wrestling match to decide who the better man is?! I'm the best high-flyer in the god damn world!!

Kelly: But didn't you use an illegal low blow in the match?

(Mystikal stops ranting and stares Kelly down.)

Mystikal: Shut up. This interview's over.

(Mystikal storms off in a huff.)

CF: Looks like you were right about Mystikal, Adam. I don't think we've heard the last of this.

AW: I was right?! Well, whaddya know??

(A video played recapping the feud between Matt Sizemore and M.J., which all began one month ago at Heatwave.)

CF: M.J. has decided that Matt Sizemore is going to be his stepping stone towards greater things here in Hammerlock. But I don't think that Sizemore will let anybody walk over him.

AW: M.J. prevented Sizemore from finally getting his hands on the divine Serenity, so Sizemore wants payback on the fitness instructor. But ever since Emma B helped turn M.J.'s career around, M.J. is a much tougher proposition than a few months ago.

CF: Emma B could be the deciding factor in this one. Let's go back to the squared circle.

Match highlights:
M.J. hit the first high impact move of the match when he floored Matt Sizemore with a flying clothesline. Sizemore came back with a side suplex and a bodyslam. Sizemore looked to put M.J. away early with the Size Matters, but the fitness instructor blocked it and went to the eyes. M.J. punished Sizemore with a backbreaker and a tilt-a-whirl powerslam. M.J. power bombed Sizemore for two and then went for a backdrop, but as he ducked his head Sizemore drilled him with a DDT. Sizemore connected with a spinebuster slam for a near fall. Sizemore kneed M.J. in the gut and hit a vertical suplex and a reverse neckbreaker. Emma B distracted the referee after Matt Sizemore used the Michinoku Driver. M.J. dropped Sizemore with a short lariat for another near fall. Sizemore rocked M.J. with a shoulderblock and then put him away with the Size Matters.

Matt Sizemore pinned M.J. with the Size Matters in 0:12:05.
Rating: ** 3/4
[Emma B interfered against Matt Sizemore.]

CF: Matt Sizemore is victorious with the Size Matters and finally M.J. has nothing to run his mouth about.

AW: That remains to be seen, but Chris Freeman, now it's time for that surprise that I have for you and everyone else watching tonight!

CF: What are you talking about, Adam? Where are you going?

(Adam Wheeler leaves the broadcast table and takes a microphone.)

AW: Ladies and gentlemen, I have a treat for everyone here tonight and everyone watching in TVland right now.

CF: I have no idea what this is all about.

AW: Now, do you people remember earlier this year when (whispers) World Wrestling Entertainment...

(The crowd boos and jeers.)

AW: ...were touring the country? And then one night in Birmingham, they came across a group of kickboxers in a Birmingham hotel?

CF: I remember that.

AW: Well ladies and gents, what a scoop I have for you.

(Adam Wheeler walks over to ringside and stands next to a muscular gentlemen seated in the front row.)

AW: I'd like to introduce to you the former four-time World Kickboxing Champion who was at the centre of that brawl. This is the man who punked out the likes of Chris Jericho, Kane and Batista. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Dan "The Man" Stirling!

(With an awkward smile on his face, Dan Stirling stands up and waves at the crowd. Stirling gets a nice ovation. He appears slightly embarrassed.)

AW: What a guy. Mr. Stirling, pleasure to meet you sir.

(Dan Stirling shakes hands with Adam Wheeler.)

AW: How are you doing tonight?

Stirling: I'm good, thanks.

AW: Dan, I want to know what happened that night. Is it really true that the WWE superstars backed off when they discovered that you are a kickboxing champ?

Stirling: Yeah. Yeah, that's true.

AW: I bet you would have wiped the floor with them. But were you scared at all?

Stirling: Scared?! Why would I be scared?

AW: Well, Kane's 7 feet tall and Batista's a big guy...

Stirling: I'm not scared of pussy wrestlers.

AW: Okay, b...

Stirling: What were they gonna do? Fake beat me up?!

(Wheeler begins to get nervous.)

AW: I'm not...

Stirling: Wrestling is fake and all staged. It isn't fighting. It isn't clever to promote violence as being glamorous.

(The crowd jeers.)

AW: Then what the hell are you doing here tonight?!

Stirling: I'm here to tell you what wrestling is - rubbish and pointless.

(Chris Freeman frantically tries to get Adam Wheeler to end the interview. Security advances on Dan Stirling. He is being booed out of the building.)

Stirling: Oh what, you disagree with me?! This charade is a slap in the face to real athletes such as myself.

(Stirling snatches the microphone away from Wheeler.)

Stirling: Wrestling is fake and looks crap. It's a bunch of overweight steroid packed beef heads hugging each other. There is no technicality to it - you go to some martial arts or some kickboxing, that's technical. This, THIS, is just cheap exploitation of people's intelligence and I would rather be DEAD, than be a wrestler.

(Security drag Dan Stirling out of the crowd while Adam Wheeler screams abuse at him. Several Hammerlock wrestlers come out from the back to try and get a shot in at Stirling. The show cuts suddenly to a highlights package documenting the feud between Bryan Campbell and Devon Ferrari over the TV Title.)

AW: What a prick.

CF: Just leave it, Adam. Coming up next, Bryan Campbell puts his NWA-UK Hammerlock Television Championship on the line against Devon Ferrari. These two men have met twice in the last month. First of all, Campbell defeated a fatigued Ferrari after he had survived an exhausting and arduous battle royal. Hammerlock officials granted Ferrari a rematch which ended in a draw, but it is widely regarded that Devon Ferrari was the better man on the night. That has all led to their bout here this evening at Back 2 School.

AW: Devon Ferrari is a talented individual, there's no doubt about it. But how can anyone dispute the fact that Bryan Campbell is better than him? Ferrari has failed to take the title in his last two attempts. And he'll fail tonight as well.

CF: But Ferrari pinned Campbell five days ago in that dream partner tag team match last Monday on Hammerlock TV...

AW: That means nothing now, Freeman. When the title is on the line, The Blue Chipper is at his best.

CF: The Tag Team Titles have already changed hands here tonight. Will the TV Title follow suit??

Match highlights:
Bryan Campbell dropped Devon Ferrari with a back elbow and went for a dragon sleeper, but Ferrari blocked it and clotheslined the champion. Ferrari connected with a springboard legdrop and scored with a German suplex for the first near fall of the contest. The crowd loved Devon Ferrari. Campbell wore Ferrari down with a sleeper and hit a back suplex. The Blue Chipper missed a flying bulldog and the crowd erupted! Ferrari capitalised with a dropkick for two. Ferrari hit an electric chair drop and an Ocean Cyclone Suplex for another two count. Ferrari then pinned Campbell with an Oklahoma roll!
Devon Ferrari's advantage was short-lived however as Bryan Campbell rolled him up and held onto the ropes to tie the contest at 1-1.
Devon Ferrari missed a Yakuza kick and Campbell swept his leg out from under him. Campbell got a two count with a backslide, but Ferrari tied him up in a magistral cradle to regain the lead!
Yet again though Campbell wasn't behind for long and he squared things up with a small package! Four quick-fire pinfalls in the space of under two minutes! The crowd was certainly into this compelling contest.
Ferrari took the Television Champion down with a reverse neckbreaker. Campbell drilled the challenger with a flying forearm for two. Ferrari used a slingshot into a DDT and a Northern lights suplex, but Campbell kicked out. Ferrari missed a running tope to the outside though, handing the Blue Chipper the advantage. Campbell executed an elbowdrop, but his vertical suplex was reversed. Ferrari nailed Campbell with a spinning leg lariat and a flying legdrop for a near fall. Campbell backdropped Ferrari out of the ring. Ferrari made it back in before the referee reached ten, but Campbell knocked him back down to the floor with the Chip Off The Old Block. Ferrari executed a top-rope DDT and hooked the tights to give Campbell a taste of his own medicine, but the Blue Chipper kicked out. Campbell missed a flying cross body and Ferrari then followed up with the Ego Has Landed for the three count! The challenger goes 3-2 up!!
Bryan Campbell back suplexed Devon Ferrari and locked on an Indian deathlock, but Ferrari wouldn't give. Ferrari hit the Emerald Erosion for an incredibly near fall. Campbell then hit the Chip Off The Old Block out of nowhere and grabbed a handful of tights as the pin was recorded. This was the third time now that Bryan Campbell had come from behind to level the bout!
Devon Ferrari would not be disheartened though and roared back with an overhead belly-to-belly and a swinging neckbreaker. Bryan Campbell floored Ferrari with a legsweep and quickly applied a dragon sleeper. Ferrari fought it as hard as he could, but he was trapped in the centre of the ring with nowhere to go. Ferrari tapped, giving the champion a 4-3 lead with under a minute left.
The crowd willed Devon Ferrari to fire back, but Campbell put the boots to the challenger who had given absolutely everything. The time limit ran out and Bryan Campbell keeps the TV Title around his waist once more with one of his most impressive performances to date.

Iron Man Match:
Bryan Campbell beat Devon Ferrari 4 falls to 3:
x D. Ferrari beat B. Campbell via an Oklahoma side roll in 0:05:07

Rating: *** 3/4
(Bryan Campbell retained the NWA-UK Hammerlock Television Title.)

CF: Devon Ferrari gave it his all here tonight at Back 2 School...

AW: But yet again he couldn't get the job done! Is that what you were going to say, Freeman?! I hope that everyone now realises that Bryan Campbell is better than Devon Ferrari...full stop.

(Bryan Campbell swaggers up the ramp, basking in the glory of his victory as the crowd chants, "Campbell sucks!". The Blue Chipper gets in the camera and warns that nobody is taking the gold away from him.)

CF: Something's going on in the back and Kelly's on the case.

(Backstage, Kelly found "The Iceman" Ben Winter and Victoria Silvstedt, who had just arrived at the arena.)

Kelly: Guys? What are you doing here tonight? Ben's not booked...

Victoria: What are we doing here?! We are here tonight to right a wrong. Tonight, The Punisher challenges Jason Prentice for the Heavyweight Title. Well, The Punisher is in Ben Winter's place. Ben Winter deserves that title shot more than The Punisher, but the idiots who make the matches around here are scared to give The Iceman the opportunity that he has earned.

Kelly: But I don't think you can just turn up here and demand...

Victoria: We do what we want. This is the second straight supershow that Ben Winter has not been booked on. He is the hottest attraction in this company right now, but he is being held back. Well, not for much longer.

Kelly: What are you two going to do?

Victoria: Kelly, I guarantee that at the end of the night, Ben Winter will have the NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Championship belt in his hands.

(Winter and Victoria leave Kelly standing perplexed. Footage then plays featuring the events between Byson and Steve Bailey in the most bloody and violent feud in Hammerlock history.)

CF: The feud between Byson and "Shotgun" Steve Bailey has wreaked havoc through Hammerlock all summer long. There is so much hatred between these two men that their rivalry can only end when one man leaves Hammerlock for good. Well, that's exactly what will happen tonight to the loser of this I Quit Match.

AW: Freeman, these two guys hate each other so badly that it almost kills the man who loses to the other. I think that even if the loser leaves Hammerlock stipulation wasn't in effect, it would be so embarrassing for one of these men to say "I Quit" to the other that they would have to leave the company. Whoever quits won't want to show their face again.

CF: As you rightly pointed out Adam, there are no pinfalls, no tap outs and no holds barred. The only way you can win is to make your opponent say those two little words - "I Quit". Byson has been perfecting a keylock submission hold to punish Bailey, while Bailey seems determined to beat the submission out of Byson.

AW: Put the women and children to bed. This one won't be pretty.

Match highlights:
Byson connected with a spear immediately and went for the Bull Rutt, but Steve Bailey slid out of the manoeuvre. Byson floored Bailey with a stiff clothesline and applied a bearhug. The referee held the microphone up to Bailey's mouth but he wouldn't quit. Bailey missed an enzuigiri, but then he ducked out of the way of Byson's lariat and drilled him with a DDT. Bailey hit a spin kick, a jumping elbow thrust and then took Byson down with a rana. Byson came back, dropping Bailey on the back of his neck with a side suplex. He was being booed like there was no tomorrow. As far as either of these men were concerned, there may not be a tomorrow in Hammerlock. Bailey hiptossed Byson and executed the Sawn-Off Shotgun. Byson blocked the Gun Barrel and nailed a spinebuster slam. Byson hit Bailey between the eyes with the microphone. Bailey power bombed Byson. Byson came back with a headbutt and a falcon arrow. Byson cracked Bailey with a frying pan and sent him flying into the steel steps, busting Bailey wide open.
The sight of his own blood spurred Steve Bailey on. He hit Byson with a fisherman suplex and a German suplex, before signalling for the barbed wire bat. The crowd was going crazy! Bailey blasted Byson in the head with the bat and the claret began to flow. Bailey took the bat and scraped the barbed wire along Byson's arm, opening up several deep lacerations. This I Quit Match was fast becoming a bloodbath. Byson refused to give up. Bailey DDTed Byson on the bat. Bailey nailed Byson with the Pistol Whip onto the barbed wire baseball bat, but Byson again would not say, "I Quit". Bailey used a barbed wire bat-assisted legdrop on Byson and executed a dragon suplex. Byson was a bloody mess, but was still fighting. He low blowed Bailey with the bat and gave him the Bull Rutt. Byson then set the bat on Bailey's groin and stomped away in what surely must be one of the most painful things ever witnessed inside a wrestling ring. Steve Bailey would not give up though! Byson blasted Bailey with a road sign and choked him with a fire extinguisher. Byson then applied the keylock on Bailey! Byson screamed at Bailey to say the words as he applied more and more pressure. He threatened to break Bailey's arm, which was being bent at a sickening angle! Amazingly, Bailey managed to break the hold to the joy of the crowd!! Bailey nailed the stunned Byson with the Gun Barrel and hit him with three Pistol Whips! Bailey then trapped Byson's arm in his own keylock and the crowd popped big time! Byson would not utter the words into the mic though. Frustrated, Bailey released the hold and grabbed the barbed wire bat again. He began to unravel the wire from the bat as everyone pondered what he had in mind. Bailey then wrapped the barbed wire around Byson's face so it was sticking in his EYES!!! Bailey pulled back on Byson's head with the wire and rather than lose his sight, Byson yelled, "I Quit". What a dramatic end to the match...and Byson's Hammerlock career.

I-Quit Match Loser-Leaves-Hammerlock:
Steve Bailey made Byson submit in 0:21:27.
Rating: ***

CF: Bailey makes Byson say "I Quit"!! But what a graphic and disturbing ending to this match and Byson's Hammerlock career!

AW: Byson's eyes would have been ripped out of his head if he didn't give up!

(Steve Bailey thanks the crowd for all their support, while Byson stumbles up the ramp, a bloodied and beaten man. The fans take great joy in chanting, "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye" at him.)

CF: The book finally closes on this bitter feud. It is surely one that Hammerlock fans will never forget.

(Backstage, The Punisher was standing by waiting to talk with Kelly.)

Kelly: Punisher, tonight's the night. It's your last opportunity to take the Heavyweight Title from Jason Prentice in a bout that has no time limit. Can you do it?

Punisher: Kelly, I wouldn't have bothered turning up tonight if I didn't feel that I could do it. I CAN beat Jason Prentice and everybody knows it. I pinned him at Heatwave but I was screwed out of the title. I pinned him last Monday on Hammerlock TV. The last time we wrestled for the title, I would have beaten him as well but the time limit saved him. Well, nothing will save him tonight. The championship is coming home with me and Hammerlock will finally have a Heavyweight Champion that the company can be proud of.

Kelly: Well, your cause has certainly been helped this evening with the news that Linda O'Neil, who had been on a modelling shoot last week in California, missed her flight back to the UK.

Punisher: Yeah, that's a real kick in the teeth(!) You know, it's almost as if someone phoned Los Angeles International Airport and, I dunno, cancelled her flight...

Kelly: You didn't!

(The Punisher smirks and shrugs his shoulders, pretending to be innocent.)

Punisher: What?!

(The Punisher makes his way out to the arena while Kelly shakes her head in amazement.)

AW: That no-good piece of filth! He did it! He cancelled Linda's flight and robbed us all of seeing the World's Sexiest Brunette in all her glory here tonight!

CF: He may also have robbed Heavyweight Champion Jason Prentice of his key to victory tonight as well!

(A killer video package played showing all the history between Jason Prentice and The Punisher. Everything was documented: The Punisher's criticism of Prentice's title reign, The Punisher refusing to let Prentice leave before his contract signing and subsequent steel cage title defence against Muerte de Antedicho, Prentice snapping and attacking The Punisher, issuing the challenge, Punisher accepting the challenge in the form of Total Punishment on the steel stage following Prentice's successful title defence against Ian Powers, the controversial double-pin finish to their Heavyweight Title Match at Heatwave and their contentious time limit draw in the rematch two weeks ago.)

CF: The time is now upon us. The NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Championship is on the line. In a best two out of three falls match, champion Jason Prentice, minus his manager Linda O'Neil, defends the title that means so much to him against The Punisher. And folks, if it takes until tomorrow to determine a winner, we'll still be here because there is no time limit in this one.

AW: Which is quite frankly a disgrace, Freeman, because it takes away a benefit that the champion has. Not only is Prentice's manager not here, but now Hammerlock officials are eradicating his championship advantage. You know, ever since Jason Prentice won the title Hammerlock brass have been determined to screw him out of the gold. First they put him in matches he doesn't want to be in and now they are changing the rules. Is it Prentice's fault that The Punisher couldn't beat him in forty-five minutes? Of course not. Yet now he's paying for it.

CF: We have witnessed a startling change in attitude from Prentice lately and there's no doubt that he has taken it to The Punisher in recent weeks, something we thought he would never do.

AW: The more I think about it though, I feel that the no time limit rule may suit the champion. The longer this bout goes, the more it will suit Prentice in my opinion.

CF: I'd agree with you, but The Punisher is very capable of going in there and ending it in five minutes.

AW: There's no chance of that happening tonight. Prentice will be out to avenge that pinfall defeat last Monday on Hammerlock TV and also end The Punisher's championship challenge once and for all.

CF: And don't forget about Victoria Silvstedt's stern warning regarding Ben Winter earlier. She claimed that The Iceman would have the championship in HIS hands at the end of the night.

AW: Prentice and The Punisher can't worry about him now, just each other. I agree that Winter deserves a title shot, but the situation between these two warriors needs to be settled.

CF: Well, let's get right to it. Let's go to Steve Lytton for the official introductions.

Match highlights:
Heavyweight Champion Jason Prentice was a house of fire to begin the contest, unloading with roundhouse rights and flooring The Punisher with a superkick. Prentice scored with the Perfect Crime. The Punisher came back with a running power bomb. Prentice hit a trademark swinging neckbreaker and executed a side suplex. The champion clotheslined The Punisher and legdropped him. The Punisher reversed a whip into the corner and went for the Sky High as Prentice rebounded, but Prentice blocked it. Prentice ducked a flying clothesline, but The Punisher was successful with a tilt-a-whirl powerslam and then a T-Bone suplex for two. The Punisher missed a flying legdrop and Prentice nailed him with an elbowsmash, quickly followed by the Perfect Shot. Prentice hooked the tights, but The Punisher still managed to kick out. Prentice worked over The Punisher's back with a Boston crab. The Punisher used the Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Prentice countered a screwdriver with a snap suplex. The Punisher speared the champion and spiked him with a brain buster. Prentice backdropped his way out of the Total Punishment and went for the Perfect Plant. The Punisher blocked it though and dumped Prentice out of the ring. Prentice then put on some brass knuckles and clocked The Punisher behind the referee's back! The champion quickly discarded the evidence and executed the Perfect Plant for the pinfall.
Jason Prentice was being booed out of the Hallam FM Arena. The Punisher shook off the cobwebs and blocked the Perfect Stranger. The Punisher levelled Prentice with a clothesline and chopped the hell out of him. The challenger dropped Prentice with a nasty shoulderblock and hit the devastating Total Punishment to level the contest at one fall apiece almost instantly.
Just then, "The Iceman" Ben Winter and Victoria Silvstedt made their way down to ringside to watch the remainder of the match. The Punisher kept the pressure on Jason Prentice with a barrage of kicks and punches. Prentice hiptossed The Punisher and suplexed him. Prentice went back to the Boston crab. The Punisher roared back with a lariat and a belly-to-back superplex. The champion hit a desperation low blow but then missed a charge into the corner. Prentice walked into a spinebuster slam and The Punisher elbowdropped him for a near fall. Prentice locked on a sleeperhold and then executed the Perfect Stranger for two and a half. Prentice picked up another near fall with a gutwrench suplex as the match-up rolled past the half hour mark. With the crowd firmly behind him, The Punisher rocked the champion with a backbreaker, a belly-to-back suplex and the Sky High power bomb. Signalling that the end was nigh, The Punisher hit the Total Punishment and made the cover, but Prentice draped a limp foot over the bottom rope, saving his title! Irritated, The Punisher dragged Prentice up for another Total Punishment, but Prentice caught him in a tight inside cradle for the pin and the victory!!

(Jason Prentice retained the NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Title.)

CF: Prentice retains the title!!! It looked all over for him, but he cradled The Punisher for the win!

AW: He may even have been playing a little possum there, Freeman! He's so smart! I love Jason Prentice!!

(Beside himself with frustration, The Punisher leaves the ring to a warm ovation for his efforts. The official goes to hand the title belt back to Prentice, but Ben Winter enters the ring and intercepts it.)

CF: What is Ben Winter going to do? He came out here with Victoria to watch the second half of this classic contest...

(Winter looks down at the championship belt with great desire and craving. The battle-weary Jason Prentice pulls himself back to a vertical base with the aid of the ring ropes. Prentice looks over at The Iceman who is still fixed on the title belt. Winter then looks up at Prentice and then floors him with a vicious belt shot! The roof comes off the Hallam FM Arena!)

CF: The Iceman just knocked out the champion with his own title belt!!!

AW: This is disgraceful! Somebody do something! NOW!!

(Ben Winter stands over the fallen champion. He still has possession of the championship gold. Victoria Silvstedt joins her man in the ring and claims that the title belongs to The Iceman.)

CF: Ben Winter has made it clear that he wants the title, but right now he has it! What is going to happen now?? We're right out of time but this has been Back 2 School! For Adam Wheeler, I'm Chris Freeman wishing you all a very good night!!

(The show closes with the sight of Ben Winter posing over Jason Prentice with Prentice's own Heavyweight Title belt.)

Card rating: *** 1/2

Circuit information:
Jason Prentice may have retained the Heavyweight Championship here tonight at Back 2 School, but he knows who his next potential challenger will be after "The Iceman" Ben Winter showed up to make his intentions crystal clear. Winter embarrassed Prentice after his gruelling battle with The Punisher, but it is certainly not a given that The Iceman is next in line for a title shot. We hope to have a decision on that next week. Meanwhile, The Punisher is extremely frustrated with the ending to tonight's main event. There's no doubt that he had Prentice right where he wanted him and he had one hand on the title, but he blew it big time.

Byson's Hammerlock career is over after Steve Bailey made him say, "I Quit" when he raked his eyes with barbed wire in one of the most unsettling images perhaps ever seen in a wrestling ring. This epic feud is finally over and will certainly live long in the memory. Bailey can now switch his attention to singles glory and championships. Maybe now he can ultimately fulfil his abundant potential.

There's no stopping "The Blue Chipper" Bryan Campbell as he kept the TV Title over Devon Ferrari tonight. A lot of people thought a title change was imminent this evening, but Campbell disappointed them. That Television Champion seems as if it is surgically attached to Campbell's waist. Who will be able to take it from him? It seems that the next challenger will either be Jawaid "2 Sleeq" Kaleeq or Hiro Kakuhari, who was victorious in that opening four way elimination match. Kaleeq still occupies the number one contenders spot despite his early elimination. Kaleeq actually suffered a concussion which is why his elimination came so suddenly. Dazed and confused, Kaleeq was taken to a local medical facility for further examination but he checked out okay. He'll be back in action next week.

Congratulations to Brandon Alvarez and Kyle Coulbourne, The New Young Lions, who outlasted La Cosa Nostra in that brutal ladder match to capture the Tag Team Titles. They certainly overcame the odds this evening and it's great to see the gold around their waists.

Matt Sizemore picked up a big win tonight against M.J. and now that he has dealt with the pesky fitness instructor, he can now concentrate in getting back into championship contention. Kontraband also earned a satisfying victory in his high-flying duel with Mystikal, but something tells me that Mystikal will not let that one go.

A big thanks to everyone who helped make Back 2 School such a success here this evening. We hope that you'll join us this week on Hammerlock TV for all the fallout!! Till then, so long everybody!!
