Hammerlock TV
Episode #11
Angel Centre, Tonbridge, Kent
Your commentary team is Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler.
The Hammerlock TV opening titles rolled and as Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler
plugged the main event for the evening, a Streetfight for the Tag Team Titles
between La Cosa Nostra and The Hammersmith Hard Men, they were interrupted by
the entrance of the Bodysnatchers. Burke and Blair were not in a good mood and
vented their frustrations at being eliminated from the
Tag Team World Cup far
too early in their opinion. They ripped into the Samoan team, branding them
cheats and accusing them of screwing Burke and Blair out of a place in the
second round. The fans seemed disinterested and Burke claimed that they should
show some respect, as just last week they had defeated two Mexican wrestling
superstars in Mr. Aguila and Abismo Negro. Some circus music began to play in
the arena and out came a band of clowns. They are Circus Act - Cobblers and
Happy - along with Tom Fun, Little Nick and Pop-Up Polly. Cobblers and Happy are
The Bodysnatchers first round opponents in the Tag Team Tournament for a title
shot at Heatwave. The clowns' appearance did nothing to ease Burke and Blair's
foul mood and they looked on in disgust as the clowns made several balloon
animals for delighted children in the crowd.
Match highlights:
Happy shocked Bodysnatcher Burke with his hand buzzer to the amusement of the
crowd. Burke displayed no sense of humour whatsoever and choked out the clown
before drilling Happy with a DDT. The Clowns nailed Blair with a double back
body drop while The Bodysnatchers fired back with a double diving headbutt on
Cobblers. Burke and Blair doubled up on Cobblers for several minutes until
Cobblers took them both out with a double clothesline and then planted Blair
with a brain buster. Cobblers squirted Blair in the eyes with water from his
flower and the blinded Bodysnatcher turned into a sitout power bomb from Happy.
Blair turned the tide with a low blow on Happy and then rocked the clown with a
shattering Blair Bomb to win the match for his team.
[Tag Team Tournament for No.1 Contendership, First Round]:
The Bodysnatchers (William Burke and William Blair) defeated
Circus Act (Cobblers and Happy) when Blair pinned Happy with the Blair Bomb in
0:05:26.
Rating: * 1/2
With that victory, The Bodysnatchers will now go on to face The New Young Lions
in the semi-finals of the tournament on Saturday Fight Night.

Up next on Hammerlock TV was a tag team match which saw the team of Jawaid
Kaleeq and Migraine face Ian Powers and Devon Ferrari. Powers was still on a
huge high after earning a Heavyweight Title shot as a result of winning the
triangle Contract on a Pole Match last Saturday night. He'll want to keep that
momentum going with a win here for his team, while Jawaid Kaleeq is looking to
bounce back from defeat against Ben Winter last week.
Match highlights:
Devon Ferrari took Migraine down with an STO and a bodyslam. Migraine fired back
with a Pedigree on Ferrari. Ferrari floored Jawaid Kaleeq with a spinning leg
lariat. Kaleeq and Ferrari got into a wild brawl at ringside. Ian Powers
executed a spinebuster on Kaleeq and Ferrari followed that with a springboard
legdrop. Powers dropped Kaleeq with an exploder and before scoring with an elbow
off the top rope, Powers stood on the top turnbuckle and proclaimed that he was
going to become the next Heavyweight Champion. Leilani was loving it at ringside
and applauded her man. Kaleeq typically would not stay down and nailed Powers
with a tiger driver. Migraine and Kaleeq hit Powers with stereo missile
dropkicks and then the ever-popular Migraine power bombed Devon Ferrari for a
two count. Migraine executed the Pain Killer on Devon Ferrari, but Ian Powers
made the save. Powers hit Migraine with a reverse neckbreaker and then dropped
him on the back of his head with the match-winning back suplex.
Devon Ferrari and Ian Powers defeated Jawaid Kaleeq and Migraine when I.
Powers
pinned Migraine after a back suplex in 0:11:12.

Ian Powers was delighted with yet another big win and he and Leilani celebrated
to loud boos from the crowd. Suddenly, Jason Prentice's music hit and the
Heavyweight Champion appeared at the entrance way holding a microphone. Prentice
basked in the "Prentice sucks!" chant before speaking. He directed his verbiage
at Ian Powers, telling him to not celebrate too soon. Prentice told Powers that
he'd get his title shot next week. The crowd popped at the announcement and
Powers was happy. The Heavyweight Champion commended Powers on his recent run of
victories, but claimed that it would not continues next week as Prentice said
that he would crush Ian Powers.
Prentice went on to address The Punisher. The crowd erupted in a "Pun-ish-er!"
chant. Jason Prentice said that The Punisher loves to rattle on about all the
qualities of a champion, but Prentice added that The Punisher didn't look much
like a champion last week. Prentice asked for the footage to play of his attack
on The Punisher last week. Jason Prentice claimed that what happened last week
would repeat itself every time The Punisher disrespected him. Prentice then
challenged The Punisher to a match at Heatwave for the Heavyweight Title, after
he discards of Ian Powers next week. Another crowd pop. Jason Prentice said he'd
be waiting for The Punisher's answer.
Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler couldn't believe that Jason Prentice had just
called out The Punisher. Freeman stated that Prentice had never called out
anybody in his life, let alone with his title at stake. They plugged the
Heavyweight Title match for next week and Freeman pondered whether Prentice was
underestimating Powers' challenge.

Highlights played from GrandSlam where Anthony DeAngelo defeated Matt Sizemore.
Sizemore suffered a knee injury in that contest, but returns to action here this
evening against M.J.
Match highlights:
Matt Sizemore hit the first big move of the match when he drove M.J. down to the
canvas with a spinebuster. The fitness instructor went to Sizemore's eyes and
then hit a powerslam and a flying clothesline. Sizemore blocked the Total Body
Workout and knocked M.J. over the top rope with a running lariat. Sizemore
climbed to the top rope and landed on M.J. at ringside with an incredible flying
cross body press! Back in the ring, Sizemore planted M.J. with a side suplex and
lit up the personal trainer's muscular chest with stinging chops. M.J. missed
with a lariat and Sizemore connected with a bodyslam. One Size Matters later and
the match was over.
Matt Sizemore pinned M.J. with the Size Matters in 0:15:27.
Rating: * 1/2
After the match, Chris Freeman interviewed Matt Sizemore in the ring. When asked
about the condition of his knee, Sizemore said that it was fine. Sizemore said
that it was time to end the whole situation with Serenity. He said that she had
embarrassed him more than he ever had been in his entire life. Sizemore called
out Serenity, but was greeted by Anthony DeAngelo. Sizemore said that the wrong
bitch had come out. DeAngelo claimed that as far as he and Serenity were
concerned, they were finished with Sizemore. DeAngelo reminded everybody that
both he and Serenity had beaten Sizemore. That statement made Matt Sizemore
sick. Sizemore claimed that it wouldn't be over until he tore Serenity apart and
to do that, he had to go through DeAngelo. Sizemore challenged DeAngelo to a
match at Heatwave and if Sizemore wins, then he gets 5 minutes alone in the ring
with Serenity! The crowd loved that idea!! DeAngelo stalled on giving an answer,
but Sizemore quipped that he'd beaten him already and asked him why he was
worried. Sizemore speculated that DeAngelo might be gutless and needs to consult
with Serenity every time he has to make a decision. DeAngelo was incensed by
that comment and immediately accepted the challenge. He said that there was no
way he'd ever let Sizemore get his hands on Serenity. Sizemore replied that he'd
see DeAngelo...and Serenity...at Heatwave.

Backstage, Serenity was tearing strips off Anthony DeAngelo, angry that he had
agreed to such a ridiculous stipulation. DeAngelo tried to comfort her, saying
that there was nothing to worry about. Serenity said that he was right, because
she had a plan!
In his dressing room, M.J. was devastated about his loss to Matt Sizemore. He
was getting a massage from his new assistant and aerobics instructor, Emma B.
M.J. talked about how frustrated he was with his recent performances. Emma B
said that there was no point in just moping around about it and that he should
take action. M.J. agreed and said he was going to ask for a rematch against Matt
Sizemore for next week.
Footage rolled from last week's crazy Tag Team Title Match between champions La
Cosa Nostra and The Hammersmith Hard Men which ended in a no-contest when all
four men started trading chair shots. That situation led to tonight's street
fight with the tag titles on the line. La Cosa Nostra are not happy about it,
while Rick Knight and Gaz Phillips should be right at home in this environment.
Match highlights:
This contest was every bit the wild and crazy brawl everybody predicted it would
be. It was the first time that the Hammerlock Tag Team Titles had been decided
in a street fight environment. Manuel Majoli took Rick Knight down with a
swinging neckbreaker and followed up with a Rocker Dropper. The former champions
laid Matteo Saronni out with a double clothesline and Gaz Phillips gave Majoli a
back suplex. Knight blasted Majoli with a piledriver onto a trash can lid. The
Hammersmith Hard Men executed a double belly-to-back suplex on Majoli on the
hard ringside floor. Majoli DDTed Phillips onto a road sign and then hit a
fisherman buster. The claret soon began to flow as Saronni was busted open when
he was sent head-first into the ring post. Knight began bleeding after a
brain-scrambling chair shot. Gaz Phillips got the better of Manuel Majoli when
both men duelled with trash cans. The Italians set up a table at ringside and
sent Phillips through with a wicked and dangerous power bomb from the ring
apron. Champions La Cosa Nostra then executed the Kiss of Death on Rick Knight
right onto a steel chair. The Italians had the match won but decided to put
Knight's head in a noose and hang him over the top rope!! Knight was gasping for
air as the life was being squeezed from his body, but the match was devoid of
rules so this was totally legal! Knight stopped responding to the referee who
immediately called for the bell.
[Street Fight:]
La Cosa Nostra (Manuel Majoli and Matteo Saronni) defeated
The Hammersmith Hard Men (Gaz Phillips and Rick Knight) when R. Knight
passed out in a chokehold in 0:20:32.
Rating: ** 1/2
(La Cosa Nostra retained the NWA-UK Hammerlock Tag Team Titles.)
Referees scrambled onto the scene and desperately freed Rick Knight from the
noose. Knight had turned an unhealthy shade of blue and the paramedics were
called for. La Cosa Nostra made their way up the ramp, showing off their tag
titles and inciting the crowd. The paramedics brought a stretcher down to the
ring, but the champions seized possession of the gurney and dumped Knight onto
it. They wheeled the barely-conscious Knight up to the top of the ramp with bad
intentions in mind. Suddenly, Knight struck both Majoli and Saronni with low
blows! The crowd popped as Gaz Phillips ran up the ramp and decked the Italians
with a couple of sickening chair shots!! The fans were going nuts as The
Hammersmith Hard Men threw both Italians onto the stretcher and pushed it off
the stage!! Phillips and Knight held up the Hammerlock Tag Team Title belts as
the show goes to credits.
Circuit information:
Tag Team Champions La Cosa Nostra were left shaken up and slightly bruised after
their stretcher ride off the stage tonight, but no serious injuries resulted.
The Italians have demanded one final match with The Hammersmith Hard Men - the
last title shot that Knight and Phillips will receive for some time - and it
will be a Sicilian Stretcher Match. This barbaric and violent match can only end
when one member of a team is incapacitated enough that he leaves the arena on a
stretcher.
Also next week, M.J. will be looking to redeem himself with a victory over Matt
Sizemore. M.J. is bitterly disappointed with his win-loss record as of late, but
with new assistant Emma B, an aerobics instructor and nutritionist, changing his
diet and helping him regain his focus, perhaps he can get himself back on track.
We'll be a step closer to discovering who the challengers are for the Tag Team
Titles at Heatwave after Saturday Fight Night when the tournament continues. In
the semi-finals, The New Young Lions face The Bodysnatchers and The Aristocrats
square off against the mysterious new team of Shenanigans and Hijinx.
Speaking of Saturday's show, Byson challenges Bryan Campbell for the TV Title,
"The Iceman" Ben Winter will be in action and we'll also hear from England's
representatives in the Tag Team World Cup, Scottie Hero and Junior Jones, who
put in a very commendable performance. Till then, so long everybody!!
