Hammerlock TV
Episode #8
The Leisure Centre, Andover, Hampshire
Your commentary team is Chris Freeman and Adam Wheeler.
Hammerlock TV began with a highlights package from last week's main event on
Saturday Fight Night, where Muerte de Antedicho defeated Heavyweight Champion
Jason Prentice by count-out in a non-title match. Antedicho KOed the champion
when he smashed his head off the ring post. Chris Freeman welcomed viewers to
the show and informed everyone that tonight's main event would be a rematch
between Prentice and Antedicho. However, the title would once again not be on
the line.
The first match on Hammerlock TV would be a triangle match featuring "Everyone's
Favourite Wrestler" Devon Ferrari, Migraine and Ian Powers. Ferrari will be keen
to bounce back from his defeat to Junior Jones last week with a win here, while
Migraine's Hammerlock career has gone off the rails lately. Migraine remains
tremendously over with the Hammerlock fans and if he could pick up a victory in
this bout then he would go some way to getting his career back on track. Ian
Powers impressed a lot of people yet again with his performance last week
against The Punisher, including, it seemed, The Punisher himself. Powers was
still showing the scars from that battle as his head was heavily bandaged.
Triangle Match:
Devon Ferrari defeated Ian Powers and Migraine when D. Ferrari pinned I. Powers
with the Ego Has Landed in 0:25:31.
Rating: ****
Match highlights:
Devon Ferrari took Ian Powers down with an STO and planted him with a Northern
Lights bomb. Migraine came in and drilled Powers with a faceslam and then scored
with a spinning leg lariat in the corner. Ferrari executed a swinging
neckbreaker on Migraine. Migraine chopped Powers down with a dropkick to the
knee and then followed up with a senton. Migraine's German suplex on Powers
earned him a desperately close near fall. Ferrari executed a beautiful
belly-to-belly on Ian Powers. Powers returned fire with a reverse neckbreaker on
Everybody's Favourite Wrestler. Powers backdropped Ferrari out of the ring and
as Ferrari and Migraine fought at ringside, Powers landed on both of them with a
lovely tope con hilo! This bout really was anyone's for the taking. The crowd
were eating up the frenetic pace of the opening bout on Hammerlock TV as the
show went to a commercial.
Back from the break and Migraine was in charge, punishing Ferrari with a
dangerous superplex from the top rope. Powers then unloaded with an exploder
suplex on Migraine. Ferrari connected with a flying legdrop on Migraine and then
nailed the Ego Has Landed moonsault, but Ian Powers prevented the pinfall from
going down. Powers was there again to break up the pin when Ferrari used a
German suplex on Migraine. The fans were undecided about who to cheer for, they
were just enjoying all the action!
Powers set up Migraine for his excruciating submission hold, the Hammer Jammer,
with a flapjack but Migraine was able to escape. Devon Ferrari sent Powers
flying with an overhead belly to belly, but Powers came back with a spinebuster
slam. He then locked in the Hammer Jammer on Ferrari, but Migraine broke the
hold with a dropkick. Ferrari knocked Migraine out of the ring and almost
separated Powers' head from his body with a spinning leg lariat! After a legdrop,
Devon Ferrari scored with the Ego Has Landed for the three count.
The crowd were on their feet, giving all three combatants a standing ovation
after the match for their efforts. We had certainly witnessed a classic here
tonight on Hammerlock TV.
Footage rolled from last week's six man tag team match in which M.J. repeatedly
refused to lock up with Jawaid Kaleeq. That bout, in which Kaleeq teamed up with
Eggsy and P Xain from Goldie Lookin' Chain and M.J. tagged with The
Bodysnatchers, ended in a double count-out so Hammerlock officials ordered a
rematch for this evening. However, it will be fought under elimination rules.
Who will survive?
Elimination Match:
Goldie Lookin' Chain (Eggsy and P Xain) and Jawaid Kaleeq beat
The Bodysnatchers (William Burke and William Blair) and M.J. 3 falls to 2:
x M.J. beat Eggsy via a flying clothesline in 0:01:56
x Kaleeq beat Burke via a German suplex in 0:03:07
x Blair beat Xain via a side suplex in 0:04:45
x Kaleeq beat Blair via a flying dropkick in 0:06:04
x Kaleeq beat M.J. via countout in 0:06:43
Survivors: Jawaid Kaleeq
Rating: ** 1/4
Match highlights:
Jawaid Kaleeq and P Xain began things by dropping Blair with a double dropkick.
Kaleeq hit a flying dropkick on Blair, bur Blair came back and DDTed Kaleeq.
Eggsy came in but missed a springboard 450 on M.J., who seized the advantage by
planting Eggsy with a spinebuster slam and then eliminating him with a brutal
flying clothesline. Kaleeq entered the fray, but M.J. wanted no part of him and
tagged Burke in. Kaleeq destroyed Burke with a spinning back suplex and then
pinned him with a German suplex to even the match back up again. Xain and Kaleeq
took Burke down with a double elbowsmash. Xain went for a hiptoss, but Burke
blocked it and smashed Xain with a lariat. Xain was disorientated, allowing
Burke to follow up with a side suplex for three. That made it two-on-one with
the odds against Kaleeq and unsurprisingly M.J. was more than happy to get in
the ring now. Blair and M.J. doubled up on Kaleeq, but after absorbing their
punishment Kaleeq blocked a punch from Blair and battered him with a series of
forearms. Kaleeq rocked Blair with a rolling elbowsmash and scored the pinfall
with a missile dropkick to the joy of the crowd. Kaleeq challenged M.J. to get
in and fight, but M.J. backed off. He walked up the ramp, shaking his head. He
told Kaleeq to wait until GrandSlam and was counted out.
After the bell, an exasperated Kaleeq took off and followed M.J. to the back.
However, the commentators pondered whether or not M.J. is really scared or just
playing mind games with Kaleeq.

Footage played of Kontraband's wins over Aero and Delo of Young Posso Fleeto
No.1. Kontraband has certainly had the NEDs' number recently and he'll look to
continue that string of victories here tonight against the slightly deranged
Tawheed.
Kontraband pinned Tawheed after a moonsault in 0:05:05.
Rating: ****
Match highlights:
Although short in duration, this was another awesome match here tonight on
Hammerlock TV. It started as a chopfest, but then Kontraband took control with a
trademark springboard rana, a savate kick and a flying dropkick. Tawheed kicked
Kontraband down to the mat, but the agile Kontraband sprang back up and
surprised Tawheed with spinning headscissors! Kontraband used a chair as a
launch pad to take Tawheed out with a spinning leg lariat. The NED stopped
Kontraband in his tracks with a superkick, but Kontraband came back with an
amazing springboard leaping swinging DDT, a German suplex and an enzuigiri. With
Tawheed prone on the canvas, Kontraband connected with a textbook moonsault for
the three count.
Kontraband acknowledged the crowd after the match, who were cheering him wildly.
Aero and Delo then hit the ring and joined Tawheed in beating down Kontraband.
"Sad But True" by Metallica hit and Hammerlock's resident enforcer The Punisher
made his way down to the ring for the save. He kicked Tawheed in the gut, nailed
him with a brain buster and destroyed him with the Total Punishment. The
Punisher then demanded that the timekeeper ring the bell. Who's gonna argue with
him?! An impromptu handicap match then got underway!
Handicap-Match:
The Punisher defeated Young Posso Fleeto No.1 (Aero and Delo) when Punisher
pinned Aero after a T-Bone Suplex in 0:01:26.
Rating: **
Match highlights:
In an incredible feat of strength, The Punisher pressed Aero above his head and
then speared him on the way down!! Delo took a flying legdrop and then The
Punisher finished Aero off with a T-Bone Suplex. The fans love this man!

Backstage, Kelly interviewed NWA-UK Hammerlock Heavyweight Champion Jason
Prentice. Prentice was evidently still feeling the effects of last week's
encounter with Muerte de Antedicho, as his head was all bandaged up and he was
complaining about a concussion. Prentice appealed to Antedicho, asking him to
delay the match and enable him to heal. The Punisher then interrupted the
interview. He asked Prentice when he was going to stop being such a pussy and
grow a set of balls! That got Prentice's attention. The Punisher told Prentice
that he should feel privileged to hold the title and said he should start acting
like a champion. Insulted, Prentice tore off his bandages and marched towards
the arena with Linda O'Neil following close behind. The Punisher smirked and
shook his head.
Muerte de Antedicho defeated Jason Prentice by countout in 0:11:04.
Rating: *** 1/2
[Linda O'Neil interfered against Muerte de Antedicho.]
Match highlights:
Muerte de Antedicho attempted to squeeze a submission out of Jason Prentice
early on with a Fujiwara armbar. He then switched his attack to Prentice's knee
with a dropkick. Prentice fired back with a swinging neckbreaker and a Boston
Crab. Antedicho used a dropkick and a moonsault, but Prentice raked the eyes.
Prentice missed a charge into the corner, allowing Antedicho to try for a brain
buster but Prentice turned it into a small package for a near fall! The champion
tore away at the Spaniard's mask and after Antedicho repositioned it, Prentice
dropped him with a superkick. Prentice worked over Antedicho with an abdominal
stretch and a German suplex which earned a two count. Prentice only scored two
again with a gutwrench suplex. Frustrated, Prentice shoved the referee. Official
Alex Fletcher shoved him right back and Prentice backed down. Jason Prentice
hurled Antedicho into the guardrail and then tried to send Antedicho head-first
into the ring post, much like Antedicho had done to him last week. However, the
Spaniard was able to block the blow. Back in the ring, Antedicho executed the
Diamond Dust but Prentice was able to get his foot on the ropes before the three
count. Prentice then grabbed his championship belt and walked out for the
countout. What a cheap finish!
Antedicho argued with the official after the decision, unhappy with Prentice's
cowardly antics. While Jason Prentice laughed at the top of the ramp, Hammerlock
president Peter Abram emerged from the back and informed Prentice that he would
be defending the title against Muerte de Antedicho at GrandSlam! The fans were
delighted at that decision. That seemed to appease Antedicho slightly, while
Prentice threw a little tantrum as the show went off air.
