Why Animation?

Animation is an extension of my still images, the idea of multiple images and sequential images.
It is the creation of movement and change combined in painted constructions seen in the variable focus of photography.

There is also the magic of creating apparent life in small objects/puppets in an enclosed world, all somewhat uncanny.

My personal vision can be achieved with the control I have in an animated production, which the larger scale live action production can not have.
