Poems

Leaves of a Book attempt
to trap ever changing
Knowledge that drifts,
like the Quill
Feather that tries
to pin it down.

Night Cat

Lithely nudging affection
Liquid silken coat
Filaments of brown that is black
Punctured only just
With slitted green orbs
Below those triangle-likes
Hollows that gather sound
While a curving of
Mobile flesh extends behind
All Night clad
Fluid muscle movement
As patches of night you are
Dark incarnate

Bone Flesh Desire

In our desire
for the softness of flesh,
do we forget the bone?

Is the hard core
included in the pleasure
induced by a lover?

The skeleton supports,
and provides leverage,
for that intoxicating caress

That which is craved
to be embraced
is hanging on a sturdy frame.

I stare into the murky
water of my back brain,
see my emotions
flowing by within
rivers of unconsciousness

In winding canyon
mind, a thought torrent
flows, but on clifftop,
either side, errant
thoughts prowl, calling like
huge black crows, to me.
