Christchurch

"...the most English city outside England..."
The following information was provided to me by Robin Pawsey who lives near Christchurch in New Zealand. Robin visited England earlier this year on his way to France. When I met him here with his young son Callum. He gave me some details regarding his tree, and also a large pictorial family tree which contains a vast amount of information and which I hope to display on the site.
In 1982 and 1983, Linda Pawsey arranged for Debrett's to investigate the ancestry of two of her ancestors;
Much of the information here comes from that research.
