  Choosing a good instructor is not easy. How do you know if the 
  
  style of instruction will suit you, will your personality

  clash, is the instructor a trainee or qualified, are you getting

  value for your money?

   

   Talk to friends, family and colleagues who are learning or have 

   passed their test recently, recommendation is a good start.

   Make enquiries with a selection of instructors do not be afraid

   to ask questions, remember the cheapest may not be the most cost 

   effective. If the instructor is busy and not cheap it may be a 

   good sign. Some driving schools train instructors, ask, and if 

   they do make sure you don't end up paying a premium price for a 

   trainee. Remember when you have made your choice you do not have

   to stay with that instructor if you are not satisfied, you are the 

   customer.
