Ronan Vibert, Vibertology, Emilia Fox, Jaguar, X-type, promtional, photographs
~ 7 November 2001
The Jaguar promo material has now been added to the official X-Type Jag website for a Flash presentation. Stills are also available in the viewing option.
Jag have said that Spike Lee is directing a web-ad (still no sign of it): sadly, no idea if Ronan Vibert will appear in it. Considering he was appearing onstage in Antarctica at the time of announcement, it seems unlikely.

~ 1 May 2001
Ronan seems to be rolling good dice this past year, with an ink-wet contract for Jaguar being the latest development.
It seems that the promotional campaign should hit us later in the year with the launch of the new models. While no filmed promos have been made, it would seem natural for Jag to use Ronan in this way, possibly for exclusive web use:  BMW have made several 6 minute mini-movies for the web (starring Croupier's Clive Owen, and directed by Guy Richie et al), if this does happen, expect a lot of money to be spent.
Any further info/trades extremely welcome.

Saturday 3rd March
Had dinner at The Cow with none other than the new face of Jaguar - Ronan Vibert. Weworked together on The Scarlet Pimpernel with Richard E Grant a few years ago and have since managed to catch up with each other whenever Ronan's back from Eastern Europe -- where he seems to have spent the last two years doing films such as the Oscar-nominated Shadow of a Vampire(sic)
Actors live in a funny world -- you can go from job to job with people being vaguely but not truly interested, then suddenly you say that there's a car, models and Paris involved and you automatically clock up more friends offering to be bag carriers,
chauffeurs and typists than you've ever received text messages.
I might try my luck. What do you think? The Face of Fiat? It doesn't really have the same ring as The Face of Jaguar does it?
