Comments:
This
was spotted by eagle-eyed Vibertologist Nicole
van der Ham, who has been a diamond and set up a downloadable
version for us on her website.
n. Netscape
has problems with it, but Explorer is fine, even without Quicktime, etc. |

The
ad begins with a statement about the misuse of energy, followed by contrasting
shots illustrating the efficient use of the human brain (cue woman holding
child in arms while shutting off a leaking tap by force of her mind).
At the very end of the ad there is a small boy drawing intensely with pencils,
and this is followed by a segment set in a studio apartment (big speakers,
hundreds of books, lots of natural light) where we see a man rapidly reading
and turning the pages of a (Maths? Science?) book in Cyrillic script: we
see close-ups of the book rapidly cut with extreme close ups of his spectacle-wearing
eyes, parts of his face, etc.
The
camera pans around the studio, getting closer to the reader, who closes
the book and looks up. Fin. |

Ronan
looks very different in the ad, with his hair brushed forward in a rather
'Romulan/Vulcan from Star Trek' style: oddly, this small
change makes him nearly unrecognisable for the brief glimpses we get of
him.
The specs do seem to be magnifying his eyes, but no idea as to whether
they are props or originals. |
