The  Stretford Children's Theatre

This page is dedicated to Bertram H. Holland, M. A. , who founded this organisation in the face of local apathy, scepticism and even hostility. This is the story of one man's dreams and ambitions realised through sheer determination, grit and hard work. Sadly, Mr Holland died sometime during the 1970's and, so it would appear, did the Stretford Children's Theatre. However, during its lifetime, it brought many happy hours to thousands of children. This is a small token of respect from just one of them. Please take a little time to read 'Beginners on Stage' by Bertram H. Holland - The Story of the Stretford Children's Theatre.
