Hello,
Good news! I (Ania) got a new job!! I had an interview at the beginning of April and I will start on 1st of May. It is a position as a research technician, at the Medical School, University of Birmingham. The laboratory is in the city center, in the Children Hospital. I go back to microscopy, especially electron microscopy, but instead of plants I will work with human material and bacteria. I hope to learn some new methods. As the position is for 5 years maybe it will be possible for me to do my PhD. It will take me around 15 minutes longer with the bus to get to the Children Hospital. This is the first time that we won't work both in the same building!
We spent most of Good Friday in Birmingham Symphony Hall, listening to "The Saint Matthew Passion". It was superb!
