Tim 'Top of the Tree' Thorne is a clean living and tidy number 8, who gets furious and shouts when on-pitch. Tim's love of health foods and low fat diet has led him to be labelled 'the gayest man in Hands Towers' by some unkind housemates.
A senior member of the team, Tim has been playing since the 98/99 season, and his basketball-style ballplaying has made him an important flair player in the Hands back row. A firm beleiver in the powers of mojo, Tim is often the last man in Wedgies of a Wednesday night. |

Pete Wilder is an incredible all-round sportsman who can and has played most positions on the pitch, Pete is nevertheless a man who never seems to be around when the cips are down - the like the 1999 final for example when his getting injured won us the league.
Pete has played for the Hands for five seasons now, and has been captain as well. He is currently having a rest from rugby, complaining that his knee hurts. Poof. |

Who is this smart young man? Why, it is the long-serving Hands open side, Lawrence Brown. Loz is now, technically, in his fourth season. For want of anyone better he has been made vice captain. He may not be the largest flanker in the world, but he is always first to the breakdown, and covers a huge amount of ground every game. However, he has yet to score for the Hands, and it is even rumoured that once went to a brothel and failed to score there, too. Loz's hobbies are using brute strength on things, and grinding. |

Oliver Pool was, for two memorable seasons, the captain of the Mighty Wandering Hands, and as such the greatest man alive. Pool is a winger with a fair amount of pace, and not much else - and sometimes not even that. He has fluked his way to the top of the tryscorers chart on two occasions, and has 35 Hands caps at time of writing, but this, of course, does not mean he is a good bloke. Not by a long chalk, oh no. His hobbies include wasting time writing homages to himself on websites, whingeing, wearing silly hats, and vomitting drinks that he has just paid perfectly good money for. Let's hope we get some decent wingers soon. |
