Dublin is a paradise if you want to check out
local Dublin Music or foreign acts performing there. U2 live in the suburb-Dalkey. Enya also lives
in that area. The Corrs have also played in many there. They are from Dundalk.
There is so much to do and see in Dublin.
Temple Bar
Temple
Bar is the cultural capital of Dublin and located in the heart of Dublin City,
about 5 to 10 minute walk from O'Connell Bridge. Temple Bar is a great area to
see bands, dining (restaurants and cafes), shopping, galleries and late
night bars and traditional Irish pubs and more. It has something to suit every
style and taste. Visit the Temple Bar Information Centre on 12 East Essex Street
for information on where to go and what to do to ensure your stay is as
comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Traditional Irish Music
Traditional
Irish music is what lots of tourists want to hear when they visit Dublin.
Traditional Irish music can be found in many pubs in the city centre and the
older style will be marketed more to tourists. Irish traditional music sessions
are mostly informal gatherings at which people play Irish traditional music. The
general session scheme is that someone starts a tune and those who know it join
in. Good session etiquette requires not playing/singing if one does not know the
tune and waiting until a tune one knows comes along.
One of my favourites is Eamonn Dorans. It is
located in Temple Bar in Dublin and is a good place to catch live music at
nights or listen to alternative / rock music during the day.
