Make Your Own Affirmations. A good affirmation is in present tense, not future or conditional. Don't use will or shall or may or might. It includes a feeling word. Make them positive rather than negative, for example:
Negative: I do not have a big credit card debt.
Positive: I can easily save money because all my bills are paid.
Affirmations talk to your unconscious mind and your unconscious doesn't understand negative statements. So inside, your mind would turn "I do not have a big debt" into "I do have a big credit card debt" and would encourage behaviors to keep that true.
