The Marbling Process
|

|
Water based inks are dropped onto a size made from Carragheen Moss where they expand and float
|
A stylus is drawn from side to side to distribute the colours
|
||
|
A comb is drawn across the surface producing the traditional non-pariel pattern
|
Having laid a sheet of paper on the surface, it is lifted to reveal the finished pattern
|
