The Age of Mythology trip to Greece is coming to an end. The winners will be annonced soon, I hope you've entered.
Thanks for your interest, however, the Age of Mythology Sweepstakes is now closed. Stay tuned for the list of winners, which we will announce on or around December 5, 2002. One lucky gamer will win a seven-day, six-night trip for two to Greece, which includes hotel, round-trip airfare and $800.00 (U.S.) in spending money.
For those not lucky enough to visit the Acropolis and other Greek landmarks, Microsoft and Ensemble Studios will give away NVIDIA GeForce 4 video cards, Age of Mythology merchandise as well as other Microsoft PC games.
Well folks, just like the many things in life, it's over. I hope you have a chance in their next contest. If they have a next contest... :(

This week we ask you: "Is the Editor buggy?". We ask this because some experienced problems with it, like a program crash. What we didn't ask is if you have Win XP; but that shouldn't do big adifference.
Here are the results of the last poll: -Q:If Ensemble Studios did a remake of Age of Empires 1, would you buy it? -Yes! 40.9% (25) -No 19.6% (12) -Maybe 24.5% (15) -Undecided 3.2% (2) -Oh the horror! 11.4% (7) votes: 61 ___________________________________
In other news, the new design is almost ready, but we need to get few pages up. Be patient for further news!

This is the moment all you map editors have been waiting for. A truly great article packed with information about the Age of Mytholoy map editor. Ogre has been working hard and has completed a total of nine articles explaining every last detail of this truly confusing editor.
Well in all honesty the editor is superb except for one thing, lack of instructions. Even though after a little tinkering you can learn how to use it, you will still never be able to master it without some guidance. You will not find any instructions in the help function, manual, or readme file that comes with the game. Though it is a minor agitation, it would have been helpful to have something in there explaining all the functions and abilities of the map editor. But then again, that is why I am writing this series of articles on it.
You can find all nine detailed articles and all other articles at TTA here.
