17/08/03 - 3 new skins - 71 total
Not a huge amount of skins this week but I didn't get back till Tuesday night so I haven't had as long as I normally would have and I've been a bit busy. Anyway, I made skins of Anthony Ruivivar as Carlos Nieto and Eddie Cibrian as Jimmy Doherty from Third Watch for a request although I had huge problems with Carlos's head. I made a skin of Deryck Whibley from the band Sum 41 for a request but I couldn't find a mesh exactly like his hair but he doesn't look too bad.

27/07/03 - 4 new skins - 68 total
Back from Russia, but only for this week cause I'm off to France and Spain for a couple of weeks tomorrow. Not a lot of new skins this week cause I've spent a lot of time packing and I'm halfway through like 4 or 5 skins. Anyway, I made a skin of Bruce Willis for a request. I did him as Jimmy 'The Tulip' Tudeski in The Whole Nine Yards cause I like that film. I did some more of the Third Watch skins that got requested: Molly Price as Faith Yokas, Kim Raver as Kimberly Zambrano and Coby Bell as Tyrone Davis, Jr.. I was going to try and finish them all and have a kind of theme but I ran out of time so I'll just do the others when I get back.

13/07/03 - 5 new skins - 64 total
As promised, I made a skin of Danny Masterson as Steven Hyde from That '70s Show. Had some problems with his eyes though but he looks alright with his glasses on. I made a skin of Justin Timberlake in the Rock Your Body video for a request. I had some problems with his hair and eyes though but I like how his outfit turned out. Made another Kingpin skin for a request, Jacob Vargas as Ernesto 'El Huevudo' Romo. Finally finished the Rod Stewart skin I've been working on for a request. He's in his outfit from the cover of Rolling Stone. I made another skin from the best show on TV for a request - Chris Noth as Det. Mike Logan from Law and Order.

I'm going to have to stop taking requests for a while. I've been considering this for a while and I'm now getting way more requests per week than the number of skins I can make and I've been putting off doing the skins I want to make so that I can try to reduce the number of requests I have left on the list. I'll finish the skins that I have on the request list of course and I'm pretty sure I'll go back to taking requests in a while but at the very least not until I've done all the stuff on the list.

There won't be an update next week cause I'll be in Russia.

06/07/03 - 5 new skins - 59 total
I made a skin for request of Dale Earnhardt Jr. the Nascar racing driver. I'm not particularly a racing fan but a bit of diversity's always good and it's nice to get some more stuff on the misc page. I made another That '70s Show skin, Topher Grace as Eric Forman. I'll try to do Hyde by next week, then I'll have the main 6 characters :-) I'm going to try and get do all the main characters for a few other series by September hopefully. I made a skin of Kevin Palmer who is the singer in the rock band TRUSTCompany for a request. I will be doing the other 3 members as well soon. I made a skin of Yancey Arias as Miguel Cadena from the TV show Kingpin for a request. I made a skin of Jason Wiles as Maurice "Bosco" Boscorelli from the TV show Third Watch for a request. I'll be doing more characters off that show too when I have a chance. Ty kept going really wrong though.
I've put up the number of requests left to do which I'll update every week so people should have a rough idea of how long it will be before something is done if they request it. I'm going to try to do at least one skin for each person that has requested it before I go on holiday in a few weeks so it's more fair then and when I get back I'll try to focus on the ones where people wanted lots of skins.

Sorry an even smaller update this week. I'm halfway through a couple more skins but I don't want to post them till they're complete. I made a skin of the author Douglas Adams for a request. If you haven't read any of his books go read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy right now, it's complete genius and so funny. He's in the miscellaneous section. I made a skin of Judy Reyes as Nurse Carla Espinosa from Scrubs cause I thought she'd be pretty easy to do (a lot of the requests I'm getting have really complicated hair so I thought this would make a nice change for me) and it's one of my favourite shows.
And I'm still really behind on the requests. I have 24 on the list at the moment (yikes!). See this is the disadvantage of this site being done by one person. Anyway they will be done sometime in the next couple of months everyone, just be a patient.

Sorry not as big an update this week. This is cause a) I'm back at school again b) I've been busy reading the new Harry Potter book this weekend (I'm about 1/4 of the way through now) and c) I made a skin of Bradley Whitford as Josh Lyman from The West Wing for a request and he kept going completely wrong. I made a skin of Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti from That '70s Show for a request. I was going to do some more requests cause I'm still well behind on them but I thought it would be nice to make a skin of Marg Helgenberger as Catherine Willows from CSI cause this way I have the 5 main characters which is good (although I'll probably redo Nick at some point cause he looks a bit odd and maybe I'll do Greg, Brass, Dr. Robbins etc. eventually).

I got a request for Aragorn from Lord of the Rings so he's on the films page. I made Hugh Grant in Two Weeks Notice for a request. Had some problems finding a good mesh though so I mean it still looks like Hugh Grant just not so much like his character in Two Weeks Notice cause of his hairstyle if you know what I mean. I made a skin of Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler from another of my favourite shows Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and I think he turned out pretty good. I made skin of Wilmer Valderrama as Fes and Ashton Kutcher as Michael Kelso from That '70s Show for a request. I'll make the 3 other main characters over the next few weeks. Had some major problems with Kelso's head though cause I was trying to make a mesh by altering a woman's head mesh and let's just say it didn't look too good so I used a different but I think Fes looks alright.

08/06/03 - 8 new skins - 44 total
I'm back! Turns out my last exam was on Friday so I can get back to skinning a bit earlier than I thought (and I still have next week off for study leave) :-) Last week was awful though - had 5 tests in 4 days! Oh well, no more till next year. I did brake my 'no skinning till the exams are over' rule a few times, but less than I thought I would (I have no self-discipline lol). Anyway, enough rambling. I did a couple of skins from JAG for a request. One is of David James Elliott as Harmon 'Harm' Rabb, Jr and the other is Catherine Bell as Sarah 'Mac' Mackenzie, both in their formal army outfits. I made a skin of Britney Spears in her outfit from the Baby One More Time video. I've been meaning to make one of her for a long time cause if you have a celebrity sim site I think it's like a rule that you have to have a Britney skin ;-) I made a skin for request of Antonio Banderas in the film Original Sin, had some real problems with his head but I modified one of the Maxis meshes a bit and I think it ended up OK. I made skins of Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle from CSI cause I saw the Play With Fire episode a few weeks a go and I thought I really must make skins of those two. I made a skin of Donna Moss from The West Wing for a request but I had problems with her face cause I think her jaw should be a bit bigger really. I'll try to make Josh next week when I have some more time, his hair looks like it could be a real challenge. I made a Nicole Kidman skin for request. She's in her 2000 Oscars dress because I don't think I've seen that one done by anyone else yet.
I'm a little bit behind on the requests cause I got quite a few while I was away so if you've requested something it will be done, just might take a few weeks for me to catch up.

21/04/03 - 1 new skin - 36 total
Finally got a chance to do a skin of Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Joe in Bend It Like Beckham that was requested. Took ages cause I haven't got a lot of free time and it kept going wrong. The timing worked out quite well though cause I saw the film this week and it was pretty good (I wasn't expecting much cause I don't like football but it was quite funny).
Also made a big change to Rachel from Friends. It was one of the first ones I did and didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. But I found a different head mesh now and I think it looks better and she's a little more tanned so it looks more like the picture.
As I said last week I'm not doing any skinning for a little bit but you can still send requests in. Got some requests and I will do them once my exams are over. I hate it when stupid real life gets in the way of my fun ;-) Anyway, I'm still answering e-mails cause that only takes a couple of minutes compared to the average couple of hours on each skin. If anyone's really desperate to get a skin done quickly I recommend asking at the Skinning Forum at TSR. Someone there might help you if you ask nicely.

30/03/03 - 4 new skins - 35 total
Sorry there was no update last week. Tripod wasn't working. I made a skin of country singer George Strait (Cowboy hat included ;-)) for a request. I'm not sure how well it turned out cause this is my first attempt at a celeb who I'm not very familiar with. If it doesn't look that much like him though I still think he makes a pretty good cowboy. Also got a request for Halle Berry at the 2003 Golden Globes. Finally I have something in the Actresses section. I made another Law and Order skin, S. Epatha Merkerson as Lt. Anita Van Buren. I know I've said it before but Law and Order rules :-) I made another country singer Kenny Chesney who I'm not very familiar with either but I think it turned out quite like the picture.
Next week will be the last update until 15th June cause I have to revise for my AS Levels :-( I'm just going to finish off the skin of Jonathan Rhys Meyers that I'm halfway through and that'll be it. But I'll be back and new updates that I'm planning for over the Summer will include characters from Scrubs, Ed, Six Feet Under, Seinfeld, Stargate SG-1, The Practice, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, more people from ER, CSI, CSI Miami, The West Wing, Law and Order, The Shield, That '70s Show as well as another Darren Hayes skin, the other members of the Dave Matthews Band, Cerys Matthews from Catatonia, the Dixie Chicks and a ton of other skins. I will still be accepting requests but they won't be done for a couple of months.

I did a skin of Mark Harmon as Simon Donovan from The West Wing. Yes I do know he was only in like 4 episodes but I was going to do Mark Harmon as Dr. McNeil from Chicago Hope (I really miss that show) but there weren't a lot of pictures to base the skin on whereas I found mpgs of him in The West Wing so it was easier. Also made a skin of Jeri Ryan as Ronnie Cooke from Boston Public. She's better known as 7 of 9 from Star Trek Voyager but I didn't really like that show. Got an e-mail request for Beyonce Knowles at the Goldnen Globes 2003 (it's in the music section because although she's an actress too she mostly does music).

09/03/03 - 4 new skins - 28 total
Added a skin of Darren Hayes in the Crush (1980 Me) video. He looks very different from the Savage Garden one I posted last week. I got e-mailed a request for the actor Colin Farrel so I had a go and I think it worked out pretty well (you might remember him from Minority Report, Daredevil and Ballykissangel). Added a skin of singer Avril Lavigne wearing an outfit from the Complicated video. Made a skin of Carey Lowell as A.D.A Jamie Ross from Law and Order (did I mention how much I like Law and Order ;-)).
I also did a few other changes to the site. I've doubled the size of all the pictures so you can see stuff more clearly. Might take a little longer for pages to load but I think it looks a lot better. Also changed a couple of existing files - Jack McCoy from Law and Order and Jackie from That '70s Show because Jack's tie and the logo on Jackie's t-shirt were the wrong way round.

Someone requested a Savage Garden's Darren Hayes skin at the Sims Resource forums and I think he's really great so I had a go. He's wearing the outfit from the Crash and Burn video. Also added a skin of Norah Jones at the 2003 Grammies, if you haven't heard her album "Come Away With Me" I really recommend it - it's superb. I made a skin of Dave Matthews, singer and guitarist from the greatest band on earth the Dave Matthews Band wearing his outfit from the The Space Between video. And, as promised there's also a skin of Will Truman from Will and Grace. Added Emily Proctor as Calleigh Duquesne from CSI: Miami and another Law and Order skin this week, Jerry Orbach as Lennie Briscoe.

I've decided I'm going to try an have an update every Sunday. This week I made a skin of Grace Adler from the sitcom Will and Grace, I might try and do Will next week. Scott Foley as Adam Sullivan from the new comedy A.U.S.A (Assistant U.S Attorneys). Max Evans from Roswell (shame that show ended cause I really liked it) and 2 more skins from my absolute favourite show Law and Order - A.D.A Claire Kincaid and A.D.A Abbie Carmichael.

I wasn't planning on launching this site for another month or so but with the whole buzz surrounding the new expansion pack "Sims Superstar" I thought now would be a good time. There aren't a huge amount of downloads yet but I only started skinning in January so hopefully there will be more soon.
